Abstract
A notable literature is available on optimal design of PID parameters using various evolutionary algorithms. The proper selection of an optimization algorithm is significantly important in finding the robust solution for a given optimization problem. Two most powerful optimization techniques are cuckoo optimization algorithm (COA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). In this paper, a tight constraint is developed to ensure the less variation in the control input signal and at the same time the overall dynamic performance is not compromised for automatic voltage regulator (AVR) system. Then, using two metaheuristic search algorithms the optimal tune techniques are implemented by imposing the performance index. The presented performance index performs well in the presence of the uncertainties in system parameters. A result is discussed in the simulation study.

Abstract
Purpose
The study aims to investigate hotel employees’ intentions to stay in industry with the mediating role of psychological contract fulfilment (PCF) and moderating role of positive emotions and position held (frontline employees vs managers) in post-lockdown era.
Design/methodology/approach
The study has followed quantitative approach following the cross-sectional design. 414 respondents of hotel industry were contacted via online and offline method. The data was analysed using partial least square method using SmartPLS 3.0.
Findings
The findings suggest that perceived organizational support and supervisor trust had a good impact on psychological contract fulfilment and contributed positively to psychological empowerment. Additionally, psychological empowerment positively impacted psychological well-being and psychological well-being positively impacted intention to stay in hotel industry. PCF positively mediated the relationship between organizational support, trust in supervisor and psychological empowerment. Positive emotions positively moderated the relationship between PCF and psychological empowerment. Multi-group analysis revealed that the managers and frontline employees perceived the PCF and psychological well-being differently.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this study is one of the few to explore the intention to stay in hotel industry by integrating social exchange theory, organization support theory and broaden-and-build theory post lockdown circumstances.

研究方法
采用定量方法的横断面设计。通过线上和线下的方式联系了414位酒店行业的受访者。使用Smartpls 3.0软件对数据进行偏最小二乘法分析。
研究发现
组织支持感和上级信任感对心理契约履行有显著影响, 对心理赋能有正向影响。此外, 心理赋能正向影响心理幸福感, 心理幸福感正向影响酒店业留任意愿。心理契约履行正向中介组织支持、主管信任与心理赋能之间的关系。积极情绪正向调节心理契约履行与心理赋能的关系。多群体分析显示, 管理者和一线员工对心理契约履行和心理幸福感的感知存在差异。
独创性
本文结合社会交换理论、组织支持理论和扩宽构建理论, 是为数不多探讨后封锁环境下酒店业留任意愿的研究。
Objetivo
El estudio tiene como objetivo investigar la intención de los empleados de hotel de permanecer en la industria con el papel mediador del cumplimiento del contrato psicológico y el papel moderador de las emociones positivas y la posición ocupada (empleados de primera línea v/s directivos) en la era post-cierre patronal.
Metodología
El estudio ha seguido un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño transversal. Se contactó con 414 encuestados del sector hotelero a través de métodos online y offline. Los datos se analizaron mediante el método de mínimos cuadrados parciales con Smartpls 3.0.
Resultados
Los resultados sugieren que el apoyo organizativo percibido y la confianza del supervisor tuvieron un buen impacto en el cumplimiento del contrato psicológico y contribuyeron positivamente a la capacitación psicológica. Además, el empoderamiento psicológico influyó positivamente en el bienestar psicológico y el bienestar psicológico influyó positivamente en la intención de permanecer en la industria hotelera. El cumplimiento del contrato psicológico medió positivamente en la relación entre el apoyo organizativo, la confianza en el supervisor y el empoderamiento psicológico. Las emociones positivas moderaron positivamente la relación entre el cumplimiento del contrato psicológico y la capacitación psicológica. El análisis multigrupo reveló que los directivos y los empleados de primera línea percibían de forma diferente el cumplimiento del contrato psicológico y el bienestar psicológico.
Originalidad
El estudio es uno de los pocos que exploran la intención de permanecer en la industria hotelera integrando la teoría del intercambio social, la teoría del apoyo organizativo y la teoría de ampliar y construir en circunstancias posteriores al cierre.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of working capital management (WCM) on profitability under different financial conditions (constraint/unconstraint) and WCM policy (aggressive/conservative). Furthermore, the study investigates the existence of optimal working capital levels under different financial conditions and WCM policy.
Design/methodology/approach
Two-step system generalized method of moments and fixed effect models are used to analyze the data collected from Prowess database from 2011 to 2020 for a sample of 1,104 Indian manufacturing companies.
Findings
The study finds an inverted U-shaped relationship between working capital and profitability in all financial conditions and working capital policy. This finding advocates the existence of an optimal level of working capital that equates the costs and benefits of holding working capital to maximize the companies’ profitability. However, holding working capital beyond the optimal level negatively affects profitability. Companies under financial constraints with aggressive working capital policies have the lowest optimal cash conversion cycle (CCC). Furthermore, the relationship of working capital with profitability and the optimal CCC varies owing to firm age and industry group.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first paper that incorporates the impact of working capital on firm’s performance from both financial constraint (unconstraint) and aggressive (conservative) working capital policy perspectives in the Indian context. Furthermore, this study also contributes in terms of reflecting the effect of firm age and industry in determining the optimum CCC of the firms.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to explore dimensions of perceived service quality in hospitals and to develop a conceptual framework showing relationship between hospital service quality, patient satisfaction and their behavioural intention.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper is based on extensive review of existing literature on hospital service quality, patient satisfaction and behavioural intention. Critical analysis of these literature studies has resulted in determining and defining the dimensions of perceived service quality and establishing relationship between hospital service quality, patient satisfaction and behavioural intention.
Findings
This study has identified six major areas through which patients perceive quality of service in hospitals. These six areas are technical quality, procedural quality, infrastructural quality, interactional quality, personnel quality, social support quality. Further 20 dimensions of hospital service quality are identified under these 6 major areas. These are clinical procedure, quality of outcome, admission, discharge, waiting time, patient safety, billing and price, follow-up, ambience, availability of resources, accessibility, food, staff attitude, personalised attention, information availability, staff competency, trustworthiness, staff diversity, hospital image and social responsibility. The conceptual framework proposes direct relationship between service quality, patient satisfaction and behavioural intention.
Originality/value
Though many studies have been conducted on hospital service quality, none of them has been able to project all the possible dimensions to measure the same. The “6-Q framework” developed by this study explores all the possible dimensions of perceived service quality in hospitals.

Although it has become fashionable to talk about how things business are changing at a nanosecond pace owing to hyper-competition, disruptive technologies and empowered consumers; the real change has been based on digital revolution and management of information. Most of the new introductions are entering a phase of facelessness from being innovative within a year of their appearance; whereas, as per one estimate, the breakeven volume is achieved after three years. This puts insurmountable financial pressure on marketing companies. In order to remain ahead of competition, they are introducing more and more new products in growth areas. In this paradoxical, complex situation; a reputed marketer in the pharmaceutical arena like Artichem entered a maturing market of Omeprazole whereas growth areas like Lansoprazole, Pantoprazole and Esomeprazole were still open to them. Did they make a mistake? Was it a bad idea to embark upon? Should they go for introducing new molecules even after a successful launch in the same segment?
Expected learning outcomes

Abstract
Purpose
The dynamics of the PV microgrid (PVMG) system are highly nonlinear and uncertain in nature. It is encountered with parametric uncertainties and disturbances. This system cannot be controlled properly by conventional linear controllers. H− controller and sliding mode controller (SMC) may capable of controlling it with ease. Due to its inherent dynamics, SMC introduces unwanted chattering into the system output waveforms. This paper aims to propose a controller to reduce this chattering.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper presents redesign of the SMC by modifying its sliding surface and tuning its parameters by employing water-evaporation-optimization (WEO) based metaheuristic algorithm.
Findings
By using this proposed water-evaporation-optimization algorithm-double integral sliding mode controller (WEOA-DISMC), the chattering magnitude is diminished greatly. Further, to examine which controller between H8 controller and proposed WEOA-DISMC performs better in both normal and uncertain situations, a comparative analysis has been made in this paper. The considered comparison parameters are reference tracking, disturbance rejection and robust stability.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to investigate the difference in the pattern of influence of perceived service quality on insured and uninsured patients’ satisfaction levels.
Design/methodology/approach
This study follows a cross-sectional primary research design. A questionnaire survey method is implemented to collect primary data from 322 respondents who have received medical care during the past 1 year. A total of 168 respondents had a subscription to health insurance and 154 of them were without health insurance coverage. Data is analysed through factor analysis and multiple regression with SPSS-26.
Findings
This study identifies a critical difference in the pattern of influence of perceived service quality on patient satisfaction in the case of insured and uninsured patients. This difference is mainly related to the number of technical and functional service quality dimensions as significant predictors of insured and uninsured patients’ satisfaction.
Originality/value
The present study extends the existing body of knowledge related to perceived service quality and patient satisfaction with an interesting observation. Technical dimensions of perceived service quality act as equally important drivers of patient satisfaction in the case of both uninsured and insured patients. However, more number of functional service quality dimensions act as important drivers of patient satisfaction in the case of insured patients compared to uninsured patients. This serves as an important takeaway for health-care managers/administrators to identify areas of service quality need to be strengthened.

Purpose
This study aims to investigate how the influences of store loyalty programs on store loyalty and store relations can be mediated by the store satisfaction-love framework.
Design/methodology/approach
The survey data were collected from selected retail stores using stratified random sampling. The hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling.
Findings
The results indicate that the impacts of store loyalty programs on store loyalty and store relations are mediated both by store love and store satisfaction.
Practical implications
This study’s findings help practitioners by empirically demonstrating that the combined cognitive satisfaction of consumers with store loyalty programs and affective store love mediate the influences of loyalty programs on consumer loyalty toward the store and on the consumer–store relation. Therefore, cognitive satisfaction with loyalty programs alone cannot create strong loyalty and a customer relationship. Cognitive satisfaction with various loyalty programs must be converted into affective store love for the mediation to be significant and effective.
Originality/value
This research adds value to the domain of store loyalty research by empirically establishing the mediating role played by the cognitive satisfaction-affective love framework in shaping the influences of loyalty programs designed by store management on the final store loyalty and customer–store relationship.
