Purpose
In the past decade, a high substantial number of academic literature and press articles have questioned merger or acquisition (M&A) transactions. If this enthusiasm towards M&A can be explained by the importance and the influence of any merger or acquisition decision for a company, it can be also attributed to the volume and the number of transactions that have been reported. This paper aims to analyse the value and the valuation of the most recent M&A deal in high tech industry.
