Abstract
Purpose
This SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis was conducted to have a portrait of the competitiveness of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) on the global map. Being a 75-year-old scientific organization, CSIR has raised each and every laboratory with a specific mandate and competency. It is definite that the organization would get some assistance from these points, which are briefly stated, as the institutional data reside with the laboratory only. To some extent, they can be considered on their discretion; however, the organization has raised its position to international standards, but still it can consider few areas/suggestions from this analysis. These points are suggestive and flexible in nature, which are identified and defined to elevate this organization on the globe. Scientific publications do make a difference, but on the ground, if the technologies are not viable and received by public, it makes no difference. Today, India is fortunate to have a Prime Minister like Mr Modi, who always re-evaluates the issues and solutions so that the country moves from developing to a fast-pace developed nation. It is a fact that if these research organizations reorganize themselves and prioritize the research problems, they are capable enough to become a pioneer among the world R&D industry. This paper aims to analyze the organization and suggest few points with significant findings which can assist in scaling toward excellence on a global scale.
Design/methodology/approach
On the basis of random sampling, laboratories were identified where their achievements and contribution toward industry and society were evaluated. On the basis of their setup, the organization and laboratories were evaluated to frame-out a SWOT analysis.
Findings
SWOT analysis is a deliberate technique carried out to analyze the current situation of the system and to analyze the internal and external environment, which provides and edge to the organization to sustain. The major factors assessed were manpower, machines, money and funding, and achievements and deliverables were studied.
Originality/value
The research, i.e. SWOT, is unique in nature, as it was not carried out earlier on such a scale. To some extent, the points suggested in SWOT and conclusion can be considered on their discretion; however, the organization has raised its position to international standards, but still it can consider few areas/suggestions from this analysis. These points are suggestive and flexible in nature, which are identified and defined to elevate this organization on the globe. Abstract
Purpose
The digital disruptions have provided alternative methods of monetary transactions. Despite the digital wave, cash as a payment option has regained its position. The purpose of this research is to investigate behavioral intentions of mobile wallet (m-wallet) users. The paper explores the dynamics of perception, behavioral intention motivation and satisfaction of m-wallet users.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors have used a self-administered questionnaire for data collection. A total of 506 responses were analysed using confirmatory factor analysis in conjunction with Structural Equation Modeling, ensuring the validity and reliability of the insights into the behavioral dynamics of m-wallet users.
Findings
The research highlights the direct impact of perceived security on m-wallet users' perceptions, which subsequently influence both direct and indirect behavioral intentions. Moreover, satisfaction emerged as a significant determinant directly shaping behavioral intentions.
Originality/value
This study contributes significantly to the existing literature by offering a comprehensive understanding of the factors driving m-wallet adoption and usage intentions, thereby equipping stakeholders and policymakers with the necessary tools to devise effective strategies to promote mobile payment technologies in North India. The study employs a multifaceted model that incorporates six key elements, providing a comprehensive understanding of the complex interrelationships among these variables.

Abstract
Purpose: The regulatory framework for corporate governance has focused on enhancing transparency, disclosure, and the role of independent directors. The supply side issues have dominated the attempts to enforce better governance. Rising cases of shareholder activism indicate the lacunas in supply-driven governance enforcement. Developing an ecosystem of shareholder engagement will spur demand-driven corporate governance. Shareholder’s active participation provides scope for enforcing good governance. The role of shareholder engagement in enhancing sustainability and value addition has been ignored.
Research methodology: The bibliometric study attempts to explore work done by countries, institutions, and researchers on shareholder engagement to explore the developments in shareholder engagement and the scope for further study. The Scopus online database was used for the study. Bibliometric analysis was done using VOSviewer (version 1.6.18).
Finding: It was found that shareholder engagement attracts researchers’ attention. Developed economies dominate the studies on shareholder engagement. Developing economies have relatively underexplored the concept of shareholder engagement.
Originality/value: Firms diversifying from customer engagement to shareholder engagement have the scope to enhance value addition and sustainability.

Abstract
Purpose
This study presents an extensive bibliometric analysis aimed at delineating the landscape of research within the insurance literature from 2020 to 2024.
Methodology
Leveraging methodologies such as keyword cooccurrence analysis, cocitation analysis, and bibliographic coupling, the study identifies pivotal clusters of research topics. The bibliographic data was sourced from Scopus, renowned for its comprehensive coverage across social, engineering, and natural sciences. Following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines, 1,608 documents were initially scrutinized, resulting in a refined dataset of 714 documents. Utilizing VOSviewer for science mapping, the study underscores three predominant categories of analysis: keyword cooccurrence, cocitation, and bibliographic coupling. Employing a dual-pronged approach for keyword selection, the study began by examining five freely accessible publications. Analysis was conducted employing two primary bibliometric techniques: performance analysis, gauging the efficacy of research components, and science mapping, elucidating interdependencies among research entities. Notably, the study utilized VOSviewer and Biblioshiny—a web interface for bibliometrics based on the R programming language—as the principal tools for bibliometric analysis.
Findings
This comprehensive investigation sheds light on the thematic evolution and interconnectedness within insurance research, providing valuable insights for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers alike.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to answer this question by discussing the practicality of implementing microreactor technology towards large-scale renewable energy generation, as well as provide an incentive for future researchers to utilize microreactors as a useful alternative tool for green energy production. However, can microreactors present a viable solution for the generation of renewable energy to tackle the on-going global energy crisis?
Design/methodology/approach
In this paper, the practicality of implementing microreactor technology toward large-scale renewable energy generation is discussed. Specific areas of interest that elucidate considerable returns of microreactors toward renewable energy production are biofuel synthesis, hydrogen conversion and solar energy harvesting.
Findings
It is believed that sustained research on microreactors can significantly accelerate the development of new energy production methods through renewable sources, which will undoubtedly aid in the quest for a greener future.
Originality/value
This work aims to provide a sound judgement on the importance of research on renewable energy production and alternative energy management methods through microreactor technology, and why future studies on this topic should be highly encouraged. The relevance of this opinion paper lies in the idea that microreactors are an innovative concept currently used in engineering to significantly accelerate chemical reactions on microscale volumes; with the feasibility of high throughput to convert energy at larger scales with much greater efficiency than existing energy production methods.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to examine the weak form of efficiency for price series of four precious metals, i.e. gold, silver, platinum and palladium, using a generalized spectral method.
Design/methodology/approach
The method has the advantage of detecting both linear and non-linear serial dependence in the conditional mean, and it is robust to various forms of conditional heteroscedasticity. The authors use three different rolling windows for the purpose of robustness.
Findings
The authors report weak form of efficiency across metals series for almost all rolling windows. The optimum efficiency for Gold and Palladium is achieved through 250 days rolling window estimates whereas it is 500 days rolling window for silver. Platinum has similar efficiency levels across rolling windows. The degree of efficiency for metal prices is observed to be varying over time with silver market possessing highest levels of efficiency. The efficiency synchronization also varies across rolling windows and metals.
Research limitations/implications
The results reveal that metal markets are efficient for most times implying the low predictability and the low likelihood of earning abnormal returns by speculating in these markets.
Originality/value
The study uses a relatively new statistical technique, the generalized spectral test, to capture linear and non-linear serial dependence. Therefore, the results possess adequate power against departure from market efficiency.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to study numerically the influence of a magnetic field on the transient free convective boundary layer flow of a nanofluid over a moving semi-infinite vertical cylinder with heat transfer
Design/methodology/approach
The problem is governed by the coupled non-linear partial differential equations with appropriate boundary conditions. The fluid is a water-based nanofluid containing nanoparticles of copper. The Brinkman model for dynamic viscosity and Maxwell–Garnett model for thermal conductivity are used. The governing boundary layer equations are written according to The Tiwari–Das nanofluid model. A robust, well-tested, implicit finite difference method of Crank–Nicolson type, which is unconditionally stable and convergent, is used to find the numerical solutions of the problem. The velocity and temperature profiles are studied for significant physical parameters such as the magnetic parameter, nanoparticles volume fraction and the thermal Grashof number Gr. The local skin-friction coefficient and the Nusselt number are also analysed and presented graphically.
Findings
The present computations have shown that an increase in the values of either magnetic parameter M or nanoparticle volume fraction decreases the local skin-friction coefficient, whereas the opposite effect is observed for thermal Grashof number Gr. The local Nusselt number increases with a rise in Gr and ϕ values. But an increase in M reduces the local Nusselt number.
Originality/value
This paper is relatively original and presents numerical investigation of transient two-dimensional laminar boundary layer free convective flow of a nanofluid over a moving semi-infinite vertical cylinder in the presence of an applied magnetic field. The present study is of immediate application to all those processes which are highly affected by heat enhancement concept and a magnetic field. Further the present study is relevant to nanofluid materials processing, chemical engineering coating operations exploiting nanomaterials and others.

Introduction: The internet of things (IoT) is the emerging technology of interconnected objects that can be termed as ‘things’ used to exchange data, connecting with different devices on the internet. It is the future where connected devices are controlled remotely. The insurance sector is one of the leading industries providing financial protection services to their customers to recover losses. Like others, the insurance industry uses the services very efficiently to solve their customer-centric problems and provide the best services to them. IoT in insurance is enhancing customer services.
Purpose: To determine how the insurance industry utilises the different IoT technologies to provide the best services and solutions to their users. The insurance sector is working on other areas of expertise to offer outstanding facilities to their clientele.
Methodology: We reviewed published material covering five years on IoT and insurance and customer services in the media, newspapers, journal publications, and the web. We determined how the insurance sector adapted the new terminology to contribute its best services to the users.
Findings: We observed that IoT services and technologies benefit the insurance industry and the clientele. This shows excellent results in the growth of the sector and heightened facilities for the consumers.
