Abstract
The object of providing steel drums with protective inside coatings is principally to allow their use for products which are incompatible with plain steel. Secondly there is a tendency to use internally coated containers merely for increasing the lifetime, e.g. to enable them to be used several times for first‐grade products. This article describes the technique of internally coating these drums.
