Abstract
Purpose: FinTech is exploding all over the world. FinTech companies play a critical role in growing the banking industry. This chapter reviews existing literature on FinTech in banking, particularly its publication trend, journal productivity and impact, affiliated organisations and related themes.
Need for the Study: FinTech is reshaping the banking sector as banks move towards digitisation. FinTech has eliminated the need for paper, reduced the requirement for physical presence, and destroyed the necessity for cash. Several researchers have studied the features and benefits of FinTech technologies in the banking field. So, there is a need to analyse the available literature to identify the scope of further research in this field.
Methodology: For a comprehensive review, Bibliometric and content analysis of 77 open access green articles collected through the structured database of ‘Dimensions’ is done. These articles are published in the UGC Journal List Group II.
Findings: It is revealed that the execution of FinTech is continuously increasing in the banking sector, which has resulted in automation in various banking activities. The study revolves around technology and Banking, Financial Inclusion and Growth, and the Impact of the Financial Crisis on Banking and Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending.
Practical Implications: The conclusions of this study can help academia and industry improve their understanding of FinTech in Banking, specifically its publication trend, geographical distribution, and creation of coherent themes. Careful analysis of collected articles will help to explore the scope of further research.

In the absence of well-developed, formal institutional frameworks, informal network-based strategies have been argued to be especially viable in emerging economies. However, some empirical research has challenged these earlier theoretical arguments. In light of new evidence, this chapter develops a contingency perspective differentiating firms' networks as strong ties and weak ties. It suggests that while strong-tie networks are typically found during the early phase of institutional transitions, weak-tie networks are more likely to be developed and leveraged during the late phase of transitions. The upshot is that as the performance benefits of strong ties decline during institutional transitions, emerging weak ties' impact on firm performance is likely to increase.

Under the background of the rapid development of e-commerce and information network, the demand for urban distribution is also changing; especially customers' demand for fast delivery of products is increasing. Based on this, the optimization of urban traffic distribution path was studied under the fast response demand. In this paper, the importance and theoretical basis of the design of urban traffic planning under rapid response demand were expounded; then, the urban traffic distribution path planning was designed, and the layout principle of urban traffic roads, the division of road levels and the planning and design of motor vehicle roads were analyzed; through the planning project of the traffic distribution path in a city, analysis of the planning on roadways, three-dimensional traffic paths was achieved.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to identify the responses required to repair political trust in Tunisia and the differences between two key stakeholder groups, namely, politicians and voters.
Design/methodology/approach
A sequential mixed method study was adopted using two data sources: semi-structured interviews conducted with citizens and politicians; and media data from TV political talk shows. Data was collected over a three-year period following several key events that affected trust.
Findings
New responses were identified to repair political trust, and these were categorized using a trust repair framework. In addition to short- and long-term responses, a new category, swift response, was identified to resolve immediate political uncertainty. The role of the trustor (i.e. voters) in actively restoring trust was identified for the first time.
Research limitations/implications
This study focussed on trust repair responses suggested by voters and politicians and not necessarily responses that were implemented by government or political parties during the period of study. The effectiveness of the suggested responses in repairing trust was not evaluated.
Practical implications
Identification of the responses required to repair trust with voters, how these differ over time, and according to different trust violations will help Tunisian politicians rebuild trust more effectively during election and non-election periods. Notably, differences highlighted between the responses suggested by voters and politicians suggest that politicians may not understand how to repair voter trust.
Originality/value
Contrary to previous studies that assume a trustor (the voter) is a passive observer, this research identified the proactive role that citizens play in the trust repair process.

Abstract
Purpose
Online communities are increasingly important for organizations and marketers. However, the issue of how structural features of online communities affect consumers' behavioral engagement remains relatively unexplored. The purpose of this study is to examine how and why different types of interdependence within online communities (i.e. task/outcome interdependence) influence individual engagement in group activities, thereby providing insights regarding online community design.
Design/methodology/approach
Two surveys were conducted with two online groups in China. One is a task-interdependent group from Douban Forum, and the other is an outcome-interdependent group from Sina Forum. A total of 159 valid responses from the task-interdependent group and 162 valid responses from the outcome-interdependent group were received. We analyzed the data using multivariate regression with Smart PLS and SPSS.
Findings
The results reveal that both task and outcome interdependence are positively related to individual behavioral engagement in online group behavior, and collective efficacy mediates the aforementioned effects. In addition, task complexity moderates the relationship between task interdependence and individual behavioral engagement; communication within group moderates the relationship between outcome interdependence and behavioral engagement, and the effect is mediated by collective efficacy.
Originality/value
This study is the first to investigate the role of an important factor of group structure, namely, interdependence, in fueling individual behavioral engagement in online communities. The results shed light on companies' design strategies to develop and retain online community members and also provide important insights for researchers interested in social network marketing.

Purpose
This chapter will discuss the extent to which existing models on expatriate functions within the international business literature, still effectively capture the roles currently performed by expatriate managers. It analyse the Edstrom and Galbraith (1977) typology and present a conceptual framework on the roles currently performed by expatriate managers within MNCs. To do this, it will draw inspiration from the resource-based view (Barney, 1991; Peng, M. W. (2001). The resource-based view and international business. Journal of Management, 27, 803–829. Wernerfelt, 1984), and the organisation capability view (Grant, 1996). Following several propositions about managers’ key functions within MNCs, challenges of creating an all-encompassing framework on expatriate functions, and suggestions for future research and theoretical development will be identified.
Methodology/approach
This chapter will present a conceptual framework on expatriate functions.
Originality/value
Four decades since Edstrom and Galbraith’s seminal work, international developments have continued to impress upon the way MNCs organise and manage their worldwide activities. Yet, as the business environment progresses, theoretical models examining how international development impact the functions undertaken by expatriate managers within MNCs individuals are still relatively scarce. Hence, this chapter aims to contribute to the theoretical advancement in the area of expatriate functions by highlighting possible changes and expansion of expatriate managers within the current global business context.

Purpose
Frequency diverse array (FDA) radar with uniform frequency offset between antenna elements has been proposed and investigated, which exhibits a range-angle-dependent beampattern. Nevertheless, because of the coupling in range and angle responses, it cannot estimate directly both the range and angle information of a target.The purpose of this paper is to consider a sub-array scheme of range-angle joint estimation of a target for frequency diverse array (FDA) radar.
Design/methodology/approach
First, The entire array is divided into two sub-arrays, which employs two different frequency offsets. For aperture extension, each sub-array adopts difference co-array structure . Therefore, the targets range and angle can be estimated directly with the subspace-based multiple signal classification algorithms for the decoupling capability of distance and angle dimensional. The estimation performance is examined by analyzing the Cramer-Rao lower bound (CRLB) versus signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
Findings
Each sub-array adopts difference co-array structure to provide degrees of freedom by only physical sensors when the second-order statistics of the received data is used. And the sub-array is equivalent to two sets of equations to solve two unknown quantities, and the closed solution of the unknown quantity can be directly determined, which cannot be gained by the phase-array radar and basic ULA FDA radar. Finally, numerical simulation results verify the validity of the proposed method.
Originality/value
In this paper, we devise a subarray scheme on FDA radar for range and angle estimation. In order to aperture extension, difference co-array is employed in each subarrays, and more targets can be distinguished than the physical sensors. The range and angle estimation performance is examined by analyzing the CRLB.

Abstract
The parameters of cohesive elements have to be chosen correctly in the simulation of composite delamination by finite element method: such as interface strength, interface stiffness and shape of cohesive law. The purpose of this work is to investigate their influence on the accuracy of the results obtained. A three-dimensional cohesive-zone model has been established using Ls-dyna to simulate Double-Cantilever-Beam mode I (DCB) and Edge-Notched-Flexure mode II (ENF) tests. The influence of these parameters of cohesive element on the maximum load and the slope of load-displacement curve have been discussed by comparing experimental and numerical results. Four traction-separation laws: bilinear, linear-parabolic, exponential and trapezoidal were considered associated with a large variation of the interface strength and of the initial interface stiffness.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of business intelligence (BI) in a consulting company. The authors propose to analyze quality through data analysis and efficiency under different business contexts. The best processes and tools in data mining are also explored.
Design/methodology/approach
Management perspectives of data analysis from Florilla Consulting Company are collected using an inductive research approach. Based on a large sample of qualitative data, cost-and-benefit analysis is used to assess the BI technologies as a strategic necessity to Florilla Consulting Company.
Findings
Findings classify the best processes and tools of data analysis under different business scenarios. The authors also propose a revised process and tools for Florilla Consulting Company to be further evaluated by future research.
Practical implications
The insights offered in this paper derives authentic value for any consulting company that is interested to benefit from the opportunities bought by the BI technologies. Quality management also gets a new dimension when technology is integrated into business.
Originality/value
This study has challenged the way quality is managed in Florilla Consulting Company. The connection of BI to quality management is explored via an empirical study of a consulting company by linking theory with practice.

The purpose of this paper is to present a study of corrosion inhibition of carbon steel in hydrochloric acid by some benzene nitriles using the quantum chemistry calculation.
Design/methodology/approach
The molecular structure and inhibition mechanism, and the relationship between inhibition efficiency of some benzene nitriles on carbon steel in the hydrochloric acid, were studied from a microcosmic viewpoint using the quantum chemistry calculation.
Findings
The calculation results showed that the inhibition efficiency of benzene nitriles on carbon steel in hydrochloric acid could be expressed by σN and ELUMO, and the greater σN absolute value and the lesser the value of ELUMO, then the greater the efficiency of the inhibitor. The regression equation for benzene nitriles is: η=2.665056−0.4447122ELUMO−10.92817σN r=0.9953128.
Originality/value
The paper offers insights into the application of the quantum chemistry calculation.
