Abstract
Purpose
The turn of the twenty-first century witnessed significant shifts in the global work environment that led to employees’ personal and professional lives witnessing dynamic transformations. Work-life interference has become the norm rather than the exception for most employees, who, of late, experience more significant interference in balancing work obligations and family responsibilities. This study aims to examine the bi-directional interference experienced by working women in India’s health-care sector.
Design/methodology/approach
For this study, 850 questionnaires were distributed to selected health-care workers in Northern India. After eliminating the invalid questionnaires, 782 valid questionnaires were retained and used for further analyzes.
Findings
The study results revealed that working women in a collectivistic culture such as India experience higher work interference on personal life than personal life interference on work in the health sector. However, women health-care workers with higher support from their employers, families and colleagues experienced lower interference levels. Therefore, health organizations need to put a system in place to ensure the least interference in women employees’ personal lives by providing both emotional and institutional support.
Originality/value
This study undertakes to conceptualize the bidirectional nature of the work-life interface among India’s health-care workers. The findings would direct employers, employees and the practitioners involved in the health-care sector to execute policies and practices that attempt to facilitate work-life integration among the workers and generate positive organizational outcomes.

Case overview/synopsis
Since his birth, Mr Bashir Khan, a 45-year-old father of four, lived as a farmer in Kallar Kahar, Pakistan. He owned 15 acres of land which he used to cultivate wheat and millet. He decided to start fruit farming after harvesting wheat in April 2021 to satisfy his long-standing desire to own a garden. He recently met a friend who was earning well from grape farming, who suggested that Khan set up a vineyard farm which could become a profitable venture for him. At the same time, Khan learned that the government had declared the Potohar region of Pakistan an olive valley, and was giving massive subsidies on olive cultivation. Khan now had a choice of fruits to plant on his land. One of his relatives, Omar Khayam, was an accountant at a firm. Khayam offered to conduct a feasibility analysis for Khan, to provide the relevant data, and help Khan select a high profit-yielding fruit farm.

Abstract
Purpose
This study developed a predictive model that established the user motivational factors that predict COVID-19 fake news sharing on social media.
Design/methodology/approach
The partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used for the analysis. Data were drawn from 152 Facebook and WhatsApp users in Nigeria to examine the research model formulated using the uses and gratification theory (UGT).
Findings
We found that altruism, instant news sharing, socialisation and self-promotion predicted fake news sharing related to COVID-19 pandemic among social media users in Nigeria. Specifically, altruism was the strongest predictor to fake news sharing behaviour related to COVID-19, followed by instant news sharing and socialisation. On the contrary, entertainment had no association with fake news sharing on COVID-19.
Practical implications
We suggest intervention strategies which nudge people to be sceptical of the information they come across on social media. We also recommend healthcare providers and the Nigerian government to provide relevant information on this current pandemic. That is, correct information should be shared widely to the public domain through various conventional and online media. This will lessen the spread of fake news on the concocted cure and prevention tips found online.
Originality/value
The salient contributions of this study are as follows: First, it brings to the fore that the desire for self-promotion is associated with fake news sharing on social media; second, it shifts the focus of studies on fake news from detection methods to sharing behaviour, which fuels the uncontrollable spread of falsehood; third, it expands the existing literature on misinformation sharing by demonstrating the user motivation that leads to fake news sharing using the UGT.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to find the multiple branches of the three-dimensional flow of Cu-Al2 O3/water rotating hybrid nanofluid perfusing a porous medium over the stretching/shrinking surface. The extended model of Darcy due to Forchheimer and Brinkman has been considered to make the hybrid nanofluid model over the pores by considering the porosity and permeability effects.
Design/methodology/approach
The Tiwari and Das model with the thermophysical properties of spherical particles for efficient dynamic viscosity of the nanoparticle is used. The linear similarity transformations are applied to convert the partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The system of governing ODEs is solved by using the three-stage Lobatto IIIa scheme in MATLAB for evolving parameters.
Findings
The system of governing ODEs produces dual branches. A unique stable branch is identified with help of stability analysis. The reduced heat transfer rate has been shown to increase with the reduced
Originality/value
Dual branches of the three-dimensional flow of Cu-Al2 O3/water rotating hybrid nanofluid have been found. Therefore, stability analysis of the branches is also conducted to know which branch is appropriate for the practical applications. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this research is novel and there is no previously published work relevant to the present study.

Purpose
Rapid advancements in computer technologies over the past decade have recorded significant growth in the area of computational micromagnetics. As a result, current micromagnetic codes exploit the scalability offered by parallel and distributed computer architectures to deliver maximum performance. The purpose of this paper is to present a review, which explores various aspects of this relationship.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors arrange the theme for this paper around the micromagnetic code development process. The review involves a discussion of the micromagnetic model, some new parallel architectures, and computational aspects based on different numerical methods.
Findings
As current micromagnetic code is not readily portable to different architectures, most of the development effort goes towards this area, with a focus on writing/rewriting code for streaming hardware (particularly graphic cards).
Originality/value
The paper identifies key challenges and avenues for further research on computational aspects of micromagnetic modelling and suggests recommendations based on the review.

Design/methodology/approach
As a coach and facilitator of a number of highly successful change efforts, the author has discovered a few key practices can provide leaders with a clear roadmap for guiding a major strategic initiative.
Findings
Based on the author's experience managing many assignments for large corporations, when six conditions for igniting a transformation process are fulfilled, and are coupled with these six requisites of leadership engagement, real change will occur.
Research limitations/implications
As one case indicates, teams that employ the author's approach can become a model for others in their organization.
Practical implications
Effective leaders helping to produce real value for great teams have to go for change selectively, constructively, personally and, above all, credibly.

This chapter is about the role Islamic finance has been able to stay on the track of facing social–economical predicaments and on the way to sustainable development with the involvement of social prosperity. When trying to investigate the convergence between social finance and Islamic standards, what is argued is that a need for observing financial operations in the same way as prodevelopment theories arise. It is considered that in a holistic approach, which assumed a social justice as the basic ethic of the Islamic financial system, the final result tends to be more appropriate. One of the main elements that makes Islamic banking stand up in a high grade is maqasid al-Shari'ah due to its responsibility to assess social performance and apply new updated technologies for sustainable growth based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In addition to that, the situation is critically observed and the gap between ambitions functions and the reality in Islamic banking and finance is also pointed out to find some reconciliation between aspirations and facts. While its ancient foundations did point to the prospect of Islamic banking to serve as a major contributor to the social and economic development, the industry players of today have now been preoccupied with the profit-making objectives and financial performance rather than social banking. This chapter focuses on the role of Islamic finance as a breakthrough force and shows the way that this influence could shape the discussions of financial systems, so that economics follow, and ethical principles and become factors for the national economy to grow more robustness.

Marketing agility has gained more attention from scholars and managers due to the current and emerging conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has changed the marketing landscape, resulting in a dramatic shift in consumer behavior in the worldwide lockdowns. Consumers sought an efficient response and reaction in real-time to their changing needs, concerns, and priorities. The shift in consumer behavior and demand forced service enterprises to develop dynamic marketing plans to adjust to the new normal that created unprecedented disruptions in their traditional business. As one of the most dynamic sectors of service marketing, tourism was challenged by the pandemic-related restrictions and contemporary competitive circumstances and faced the destructive, yet transformative impacts of the outbreak. The tourism enterprises all over world were compelled to implement innovations to adjust to the new customer preferences and needs for a sustainable change to develop dynamic marketing solutions. This chapter aims to review and analyze how the tourism enterprises gravitated to a new approach and implemented an agile marketing strategy focusing on the emerging customer priorities, based on analysis of the hotel websites. A functioning group of 4 and 5-star hotels located in Bodrum, Turkey, was selected and their website updates from the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic to the proliferation of the vaccines were examined considering the official data on inbound, domestic and outbound tourism. The findings provided an insight into the concept of agile in tourism marketing applied to a function characterized by the radically changing conditions that bring in new threats and opportunities.

Abstract
This chapter investigates the presence of a difference in the systemic risk level between Islamic and conventional banks in Bangladesh. The authors compare systemic resilience of three types of banks: fully fledged Islamic banks, purely conventional banks (CB), and CB with Islamic windows. The authors use the market-based systemic risk measures of marginal expected shortfall and systemic risk to identify which type is more vulnerable to a systemic event. The authors also use ΔCoVaR to identify which type contributes more to a systemic event. Using a sample of observations on 27 publicly traded banks operating over the 2005–2014 period, the authors find that CB is the least resilient sector to a systemic event, and is the one that has the highest contribution to systemic risk during crisis times.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of study is to examine the dual nature of the branches for the problem of Darcy–Forchheimer porous medium flow of rotating nanofluid on a linearly stretching/shrinking surface under the field of magnetic influence. The dual nature of the branches confronts the uniqueness and existence theorem, moreover, mathematically it is a great achievement. For engineering purposes, this study applied a linear stability test on the multiple branches to determine which solution is physically reliable (stable).
Design/methodology/approach
Nanofluid model has been developed with the help of Buongiorno model. The partial differential equations in space coordinates for the law of conservation of mass, momentum and energy have been transformed into ordinary differential equations by introducing the similarity variables. Two numerical techniques, namely, the shooting method in Maple software and the three-stage Lobatto IIIA method in Matlab software, have been used to find multiple branches and to accomplish stability analysis, respectively.
Findings
The parametric investigation has been executed to find the multiple branches and explore the effects on skin friction, Sherwood number, Nusselt number, concentration and temperature profiles. The findings exhibited the presence of dual branches only in the case of a shrinking sheet.
Originality/value
The originality of work is a determination of multiple branches and the performance of the stability analysis of the branches. It has also been confirmed that such a study has not yet been considered in the previous literature.
