Abstract
This article introduces a map generation algorithm that combines configuration space and occupancy grid approaches. This algorithm is suitable for a mobile robot system with local sensors for positioning. Global positioning is not required. The algorithm will generate a driving path for the robot to explore the unknown environment around it. A version of the DistBug algorithm is used to determine routes around obstacles. The algorithm can deal with imperfect distance sensors and localization errors.

Abstract
This chapter defines what road safety advertising campaigns are and the objectives that they typically seek to achieve. The argument put forward in this chapter is that when theoretically informed in their design and sensitive to the array of potential personal, social, and cultural influences which may be at play, road safety advertising can contribute to both reinforcing and transforming contemporary traffic safety culture. This chapter offers guidance to researchers and practitioners in the field regarding relevant theory which may be applied to inform message design and evaluation.

Abstract
At the request of the French Air Force and in order to meet urgent operational needs, the Matra Defense company recently received the first production contract for the DDM missile warning receiver (Détecteur de Départ de Missiles). This infrared warning receiver system SAMIR (Système d'Alerte Missile InfraRouge), a world premiere, will be mounted on the French Air Force's Mirage 2000 aircraft as of the spring 1995.

Abstract
Drawing upon the Traffic Safety Culture (TSC) perspective, this chapter outlines the reinforcing and transforming functions of advertising and illustrates such approaches by drawing upon examples from Australian road safety advertising campaigns. The argument put forth is that road safety advertising can be a robust tool; it can reinforce other countermeasures (enforcement) as well as transform community expectations and values and thus ultimately contribute to social as well as behavioral change.

Abstract
International experience (IE) has been acknowledged to be the most useful method for developing global leaders. However, not everyone benefits equally from IE. During the last two decades, our understanding of why this is the case and how global leaders learn from IE has rapidly increased. Several individual and organizational enablers facilitating global leader learning from IE have been identified in the literature, as have learning mechanisms that make such learning possible. However, the literature remains fragmented, and there is a great need to integrate the findings in the field. Therefore, the present paper systematically examines peer-reviewed studies on global leaders' learning from IE published between 1998 and 2019. The study contributes to the extant literature by identifying and integrating individual enablers, organizational enablers, and key learning mechanisms from global leaders' IE and by suggesting topics for future research.
