Abstract
Chester Whitney Wright (1879–1966) received his A.B. in 1901, A.M. in 1902 and Ph.D. in 1906, all from Harvard University. After teaching at Cornell University during 1906–1907, he taught at the University of Chicago from 1907 to 1944. Wright was the author of Economic History of the United States (1941, 1949); editor of Economic Problems of War and Its Aftermath (1942), to which he contributed a chapter on economic lessons from previous wars, and other chapters were authored by John U. Nef (war and the early industrial revolution) and by Frank H. Knight (the war and the crisis of individualism); and co-editor of Materials for the Study of Elementary Economics (1913). Wright’s Wool-Growing and the Tariff received the David Ames Wells Prize for 1907–1908, and was volume 5 in the Harvard Economic Studies. Abstract
Ancient and universal, fantasy was most likely the first mainstream literature rather than the naturalism later recognized as mainstream. Every generation of every culture tells and retells tales based on psychological archetypes, the elements of fantasy. For instance, the Celtic tale “Leir and His Daughters” has been reworked and updated by authors ranging from Shakespeare to Diana Paxson (The Serpent's Tooth, Morrow, 1991). One of the old English/Scottish ballads collected by Francis James Child in the late 19th century (Child ballad No. 37) has recently reappeared as the novel Thomas the Rhymer by Ellen Kushner (Morrow, 1991). Similarly, retellings of the Arthurian legend are legion, from Geoffrey of Monmouth to Malory to Tennyson to such modern writers as T.H. White, Mary Stewart, Marion Zimmer Bradley (The Mists of Avalon, Knopf, 1982), and Guy Gavriel Kay (The Wandering Fire and The Darkest Road, Collins, 1986).

Abstract
Various authors have identified specific types of dark leadership. These types focus largely on the behaviors and impact of the dark leaders. In contrast, we introduce the notion of heretical leadership. The construct relies on the interpreted meanings of the wounded as opposed to actual leader actions. Heretical leadership violates the canon of educational organizations, which is to serve and uplift students. We share two stories of our own wounding in a dialogic fashion, drawing lessons from the intersection of the literature and our own stories. We identify and define scarring as stage distinct from wounding. Findings include suggestions for using story as a vehicle for healing and working to raise awareness of and embrace new perspectives, especially in regards to the nature of organizational systems.

Abstract
Purpose
Exploratory search activities are ubiquitous in various information systems. Much potentially useful or even serendipitous information is discovered during the exploratory search process. Given its irreplaceable role in information systems, exploratory search has attracted growing attention from the information system community. Since few studies have methodically reviewed current publications, researchers and practitioners are unable to take full advantage of existing achievements, which, in turn, limits their progress in this field. Through a literature review, this study aims to recapitulate important research topics of exploratory search in information systems, providing a research landscape of exploratory search.
Design/methodology/approach
Automatic and manual searches were performed on seven reputable databases to collect relevant literature published between January 2005 and July 2023. The literature pool contains 146 primary studies on exploratory search in information system research.
Findings
This study recapitulated five important topics of exploratory search, namely, conceptual frameworks, theoretical frameworks, influencing factors, design features and evaluation metrics. Moreover, this review revealed research gaps in current studies and proposed a knowledge framework and a research agenda for future studies.
Originality/value
This study has important implications for beginners to quickly get a snapshot of exploratory search studies, for researchers to re-align current research or discover new interesting issues, and for practitioners to design information systems that support exploratory search.

Abstract
Purpose –
The paper was written to highlight the common experience of older people in care homes who are often left to deal with loss and grief without the explicit emotional validation and support needed.
Design/methodology/approach –
Beginning with a real world example of an older person who felt suicidal at the prospect of moving into a care home the paper analyses the common culture in care homes and goes onto describe a new paradigm of care giving (“the compassionate community”).
Findings –
The paper highlights the need for a shift of culture and leadership thinking in the care homes.
Practical implications –
Older people need more opportunities to share their losses and grief and staff teams must develop their role so that it moves beyond physical caring to embrace the emotional and spiritual aspects of the lives of the people they care for.
Originality/value –
This paper issues a radical call for an shift in thinking and values and suggests a route map which will enable full expression of the emotional lives of the people being cared for.

Abstract
In the next decade, over 500,000 students with autism spectrum disorder will graduate high school, over 60% with average to above-average IQs (Institutional Center for Special Education Research, 2011). Attention is rightfully drawn to the potent challenge of optimizing lifespan outcomes for Generation A. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) passed in 2014 calls for a unified and social model supports structure to help the education to pre-employment transition through “Required Activities.” This includes job exploration counseling, integrated work-based learning experiences, postsecondary educational programs at institutions of higher education, social skills, and self-advocacy training. WIOA aims to streamline Pre-Employment Transition Services and end the medical model, deficits-based approach from education to integrated, paid employment.
The authors of the bill realized the necessity to achieve its goals through “Authorized Activities” encompassing the implementation of effective strategies for integrated work and independent living, the dissemination of information and knowledge across multistate partnerships, and learning new skills to support students in vocational rehabilitation (VR) and educational settings. The 2019 interpretation of WIOA states the educational and VR systems cannot draw funding from “Authorized Activities” and must instead focus on “Required Activities” leaving a gaping hole in the provision of services through lack of training and partnerships.
Despite billions in government funding, systems remain siloed. Over 50% of autistic adults remain in segregated, subminimum wage jobs, and the 85% underemployment or unemployment rate for autistic graduates, with and without college degrees, remains. Generation A calls for the effective delivery of WIOA to enjoy integrated, meaningful employment and financial independence.
