Abstract
The need to create jobs is worldwide. In the United States, half of all new jobs are created by small businesses. Using U.S. small businesses as models, Control Data, through its Area Enterprise Program, is helping people in depressed areas of Europe set up their own computer‐oriented businesses. And by answering the need to create jobs, Control Data can establish a strong base for marketing its services in Europe.
