Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to investigate how e-health system characteristics (information quality, system quality, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness) contribute to the enhancement of medical staff performance, patient care, and doctor–patient relationships at UNRWA-Gaza healthcare centers. It aims at testing an integrative single model comprising Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), D&M model and e-health system utilization.
Design/methodology/approach
This study followed the quantitative methodology and the deductive research approach. Data were collected from 241 medical staff who use the system employed in 19 different healthcare centers across the Gaza Strip. Partial least square/structural equation modeling technique was used to analyze the collected data and to test study hypotheses.
Findings
Study concluded that information quality of the adopted Health Information System (HIS) has both direct and indirect positive impact on staff performance, only direct positive impact on patient care and only positive indirect impact on doctor–patient relationship. System quality, on the other hand, was found to have negative direct impact and positive indirect impact on staff performance and has both direct and indirect positive impact on both doctor-patient relationship and patient care.
Research limitations/implications
Noteworthy that HIS has availability, speed and error detection and error prevention issues. It is recommended that these shortfalls be addressed together with improving user perception towards ease of use and usefulness of the system.
Practical implications
Management should also work to raise confidence in its medical staff to improve the effect of HIS on medical performance and patient care. It is also recommended that UNRWA should implement crowed management techniques such as queuing systems and on-phone booking to minimize patient waiting time.
Originality/value
The importance of the study stems from its context being conducted in a developing region (Gaza Strip-Palestine) which has a fragile economic, political and social environment with many other complexities. It is also conducted at United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) healthcare centers, which provide medical services to Palestinian refugees. In addition, this study is among the few studies that address the impact of individual e-health success factors on both doctor-patient relationship and patient care constructs. Most previous studies concentrated on the impact of health system adoption as a whole on these two subject variables and one can hardly ever stop at studies that address effect of individual success factors on them. It also integrated both D&M system success model and TAM model with some additional amendments creating and tested a new model.

Abstract
This study aims to identify blockchain-related innovation trends that can improve trust networks in a smart city's transport and supply chain networks. Trust networks are crucial in building and maintaining the trust of citizens in smart cities. By promoting transparency and accountability, facilitating collaboration and innovation, enhancing citizen participation and protecting privacy and security, trust networks can help to ensure that smart cities are developed and implemented in a responsible and sustainable way. A systematic literature review identifies 60 conceptual and empirical studies. This research focuses on the current problems and developing procurement and supply chain strategy and the potential benefits of using blockchain in these areas. It suggests ways for the smart city's transport and supply chain networks to utilise blockchain to improve operations and supply chain strategy and identifies innovation trends related to blockchain. The study also includes a systematic literature review and Blockchain Transformation and Influence model as the basis to enhance trust networks in the supply chain.

– The purpose of this paper is to examine the construction of articles published in three highly ranked interdisciplinary accounting journals.
Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to examine the construction of articles published in three highly ranked interdisciplinary accounting journals.
Design/methodology/approach
The analysis is based on articles published during 2010 in Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal (AAAJ), Accounting, Organizations and Society (AOS) and Critical Perspectives on Accounting (CPA). The authors develop a framework and examine characteristics of the published articles, including the prose.
Findings
Based on the construction of accounting academic articles in the highly ranked interdisciplinary journals, the authors introduce a simplified concept of the five distinct major parts of an article, make some taken-for-granted aspects of article construction explicit and conclude that alternatives, if used effectively, can add to the quality of an article. Finally, there is a discussion of, and a reflection on, how the taken-for-granted rules of academic publishing can be challenged.
Research limitations/implications
This article is limited by the authors ' own analysis and interpretations of AAAJ, AOS and CPA articles published during 2010.
Originality/value
As far as can be ascertained, the authors are the first to examine the construction of research articles published in high ranking interdisciplinary accounting journals. The paper can assist emerging scholars in the process of planning and writing their own articles. For seasoned researchers, the paper ' s insights may serve to reaffirm or help further develop their approach. The paper also contributes to the ongoing debate around the pressure to publish, the measurement of publications, and the difficulties of getting published.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to understand the effect of the use of different proportions and types of fibers in the polyamide 6 (PA6) matrix during material extrusion-based additive manufacturing (MEX) and the effect of the manufacturing parameters on the mechanical properties. The mechanical, thermal and morphological properties of PA composites that are reinforced with carbon fiber (CF), glass fiber (GF) and as well as hybrid fiber (HF) were investigated.
Design/methodology/approach
In this study, the effect of nozzle temperature and layer thickness on the mechanical properties of composite samples was investigated in terms of their behavior under tensile, impact and compression loads, manufacturing parameters as well as fiber ratio and type. The results were also consolidated by scanning electron microscopy.
Findings
At 20 Wt.% CF reinforcement PA6 samples, a tensile strength value of 125 MPa was obtained with a 60% increase in tensile strength value compared to neatPA6. The HF-reinforced ones also measured a tensile strength value of 106.69 MPa. This corresponds to an increase of 38% compared to neatPA6. The results also show that HF reinforcement can be an important component for many composites and a suitable material for use under compression loading.
Originality/value
PA6, an engineering polymer, can be produced by MEX, which offers several advantages for complex geometries and customized designs. There are studies on different carbon and GF ratios in the PA6 matrix. Using these fibers together in a HF, the examination of their mechanical properties in the MEX method and the examination of the effect of GF reinforcement in the hybrid structure, which has a cost-reducing effect, has been an innovative approach. In this study, the results of the optimization of the parameters affecting the mechanical properties in the production of samples reinforced with different ratios and types of fibers in the PA6 matrix by the MEX method are presented.
