Abstract
Purpose
This study investigated the in-role and extra-role performance of male and female teachers. Multigroup Analysis is applied to the unique combination of independent variable time pressures, mediating variable psychological empowerment and dependent variable teacher in-role and extra-role performance.
Design/methodology/approach
The reason for employing a distinctive methodology is because of male and female characteristics. In addition, data were gathered during COVID-19 using convenient sampling techniques from male and female teachers working in Pakistani higher education institutions.
Findings
The results showed that time has a significant impact on how well male and female teachers do their jobs. According to the gendered characteristics, psychological empowerment significantly intervenes between time pressure and teacher performance. Furthermore, the result provides policymakers with guidelines while assigning the task to teachers.
Practical implications
This article highlighted the issues of performance under time pressure imposed by an educational institution's employer and developed the mechanism for effective and efficient policies to improve the performance of teachers.
Originality/value
Under the lens of the cognitive theory of load, this study contributes to the literature on time pressure, psychological empowerment and teacher performance by introducing a novel concept and novel research framework.

Abstract
This research work demonstrates the method of examining the influence of digitalization in social entrepreneurial perspectives. For this purpose, three major digital transformation domains, namely, blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud services were considered. For all three domains, their adoption over time is studied and further analyzed. Consequently, it is observed that all three have a noteworthy positive influence to improve the business performance, trade, supply chain and similar disciplines. For the blockchain, their user activity like addition of new wallets, transactions made and the market price for bitcoins over time was used. For AI, data from tech fundings prior to the year 2020–2021 were obtained and AI adoption in several regions was analyzed. Finally, for cloud services, cloud computing adoption data (2009–2019) at both the individual and organizational level were studied. This research is useful for business entities to further support the fact that digitalization has modernized legacy processes, enabled rapid innovation, strengthened security and increased profitability.

Purpose
The purpose of this chapter is to discuss disability hate crimes in the context of feminist theories of intersectionality.
Design/methodology/approach
A mixed-method approach is adopted, combing feminist auto-ethnography with case reviews of a number of disability hate crimes.
Findings
Disability hate crimes must be understood in the wider context of social inequality and the intersection of identities which make some people more vulnerable to criminal victimization than others.
Social implications
Feminists can apply many of the lessons from third wave feminist debates about intersectionality to the topic of disability hate crimes, so that the multiplicity of inequalities which influence victimization are appropriately recognized. Policy changes are necessary to respond more appropriately to the intersectional forms of power underlying disability hate crimes.
Originality/value
There has not been a feminist exploration of disability hate crimes ever written before, so the chapter breaks new ground in exploring these issues.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of the study is to classify the radiographic images into three categories such as fillings, cavity and implant to identify dental diseases because dental disease is a very common dental health problem for all people. The detection of dental issues and the selection of the most suitable method of treatment are both determined by the results of a radiological examination. Dental x-rays provide important information about the insides of teeth and their surrounding cells, which helps dentists detect dental issues that are not immediately visible. The analysis of dental x-rays, which is typically done by dentists, is a time-consuming process that can become an error-prone technique due to the wide variations in the structure of teeth and the dentist's lack of expertise. The workload of a dental professional and the chance of misinterpretation can be decreased by the availability of such a system, which can interpret the result of an x-ray automatically.
Design/methodology/approach
This study uses deep learning (DL) models to identify dental diseases in order to tackle this issue. Four different DL models, such as ResNet-101, Xception, DenseNet-201 and EfficientNet-B0, were evaluated in order to determine which one would be the most useful for the detection of dental diseases (such as fillings, cavity and implant).
Findings
Loss and accuracy curves have been used to analyze the model. However, the EfficientNet-B0 model performed better compared to Xception, DenseNet-201 and ResNet-101. The accuracy, recall, F1-score and AUC values for this model were 98.91, 98.91, 98.74 and 99.98%, respectively. The accuracy rates for the Xception, ResNet-101 and DenseNet-201 are 96.74, 93.48 and 95.65%, respectively.
Practical implications
The present study can benefit dentists from using the DL model to more accurately diagnose dental problems.
Originality/value
This study is conducted to evaluate dental diseases using Convolutional neural network (CNN) techniques to assist dentists in selecting the most effective technique for a particular clinical condition.

Abstract
As the Latinx population continues to increase in the United States, so has the number of families who experience disability. Latinx families of children and youth with disabilities face unique challenges as they navigate services and systems to advocate for the rights of their children. These challenges impact their health and wellbeing. Grounded in the Social Ecological Model (SEM), in this chapter, the authors discuss the challenges, support systems, and resources available to Latinx families of children and youth with disabilities across levels of influence, including the individual/family, interpersonal, community, and societal/systems levels. The authors highlight empowerment-focused interventions designed to promote advocacy efforts and the health and wellbeing of Latinx families of children and youth with disabilities, and the authors close with recommendations for future research, practice, and policy.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this research is to investigate the behavior of continuous hydromagnetic convective fluid within a porous medium. In this study, all fluid properties are assumed to remain constant, except for viscosity, which varies inversely with temperature. Additionally, the fluid experiences Newtonian heating, and the effects of the Dufour and Soret phenomena are considered. The study also examines how controlling constants affect the velocity, temperature and concentration profiles.
Design/methodology/approach
The model equations are transformed to ordinary differential equations adopting similarity transformations. The resulting coupled nonlinear differential equations are then solved numerically using the shooting method combined with the fourth order Runge-Kutta (RK-4) technique. The effects of varying parameters on the flow are presented through graphs and tables.
Findings
The consequences of supervising constants on the flow are encapsulated in charts. The findings are that the Biot number is crucial in determining the temperature distribution within a solid during transient heat transfer; a reduction in the velocity chart is experienced as the size of suction grows; the temperature distribution over the upright heated plate escalates dramatically as Dufour(Du) shot up; and a rise in fluid velocity as the Soret parameter increases. The current results are annotated in sketches for better understanding. Findings are authenticated in contrast with published works. Finally, viscosity dependent on temperature and Newtonian heating are crucial in determining the flow characteristics, heat transfer efficiency, pressure drop, flow stability and overall performance of fluid systems. Understanding and accounting for these variations are essential for the optimal design and operation of engineering applications involving fluids.
Originality/value
The peculiarity of the research is perusal of exploration of viscosity dependent on temperature and Newtonian heating above steady hydromagnetic convective flow in a percolating environment: Soret, Dufour consequences. To the best of authors’ understanding, problem like this has not been considered. The findings in this work will give a useful information to scientists and engineers.

Case overview/synopsis
The case study follows Hasnain, a prosperous entrepreneur in Pakistan, who was surprised by the news of a cyberattack on Bank Islami. This event, coupled with a personal data breach in his family’s business, triggered Hasnain’s willingness and interest to address the growing threat of cyber risks and attacks. As the progenitor of a digital solutions startup, he identified a gap in the insurance industry’s replication to cyber threats and envisioned the desideratum for a Sharia-compliant cyber-insurance product withal called cyber risk takaful. The case study explores Hasnain’s journey as he contemplated the challenges of introducing cyber risk takaful – a Sharia-compliant insurance solution for businesses and individuals. Apperceiving the low vigilance and perceived costs associated with cyber insurance, Hasnain faced the dilemma of surmounting these barriers in a country where the penetration of insurance, in general, is already minimal. The story raises critical questions: How can Hasnain efficaciously introduce cyber risk takaful to a market reluctant to embrace cyber insurance? What business strategies should he use to engender vigilance and acceptance of this innovative insurance solution? Will businesses and individuals embrace the concept of cyber risk takaful and recognize its paramount in forfending their digital assets?

Abstract
Purpose
Under the background of open science, this paper integrates altmetrics data and combines multiple evaluation methods to analyze and evaluate the indicators' characteristics of discourse leading for academic journals, which is of great significance to enrich and improve the evaluation theory and indicator system of academic journals.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper obtained 795,631 citations and 10.3 million altmetrics indicators data for 126,424 published papers from 151 medicine, general and internal academic journals. In this paper, descriptive statistical analysis and distribution rules of evaluation indicators are first carried out at the macro level. The distribution characteristics of evaluation indicators under different international collaboration conditions are analyzed at the micro level. Second, according to the characteristics and connotation of the evaluation indicators, the evaluation indicator system is constructed. Third, correlation analysis, factor analysis, entropy weight method and TOPSIS method are adopted to evaluate and analyze the discourse leading in medicine, general and internal academic journals by integrating altmetrics. At the same time, this paper verifies the reliability of the evaluation results.
Findings
Six features of discourse leading integrated with altmetrics indicators are obtained. In the era of open science, online academic exchanges are becoming more and more popular. The evaluation activities based on altmetrics have fine-grained and procedural advantages. It is feasible and necessary to integrate altmetrics indicators and combine the advantages of multiple methods to evaluate the academic journals' discourse leading of which are in a diversified academic ecosystem.
Originality/value
This paper uses descriptive statistical analysis to analyze the distribution characteristics and distribution rules of discourse leading indicators of academic journals and to explore the availability of altmetrics indicators and the effectiveness of constructing an evaluation system. Then, combining the advantages of multiple evaluation methods, The author integrates altmetrics indicators to comprehensively evaluate the discourse leading of academic journals and verify the reliability of the evaluation results. This paper aims to provide references for enriching and improving the evaluation theory and indicator system of academic journals.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to explore dual solutions for the flow of a hybrid nanofluid over a permeable melting stretching/shrinking sheet with nanoparticle shape factor, second-order velocity slip conditions and viscous dissipation. The hybrid nanofluid is formulated by dispersing alumina (Al2O3) and copper (Cu) nanoparticles into water (H2O).
Design/methodology/approach
The governing partial differential equations (PDEs) are first reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using a mathematical method of similarity transformation technique. These ODEs are then numerically solved through MATLAB’s bvp4c solver.
Findings
Key parameters such as slip parameter, melting parameter, suction parameter, shrinking parameter and Eckert number are examined. The results reveal the existence of two distinct solutions (upper and lower branches) for the transformed ODEs when considering the shrinking parameter. Increasing value of Cu-volume fraction and the second-order velocity slip enhances boundary layer thicknesses, whereas the heat transfer rate diminishes with rising melting and suction parameters. These numerical results are illustrated through various figures and tables. Additionally, a stability analysis is performed and confirms the upper branch is stable and practical, while the lower branch is unstable.
Practical implications
The analysis of hybrid nanofluid flow over a shrinking surface has practical significance with applications in processes such as solar thermal management systems, automotive cooling systems, sedimentation, microelectronic cooling or centrifugal separation of particles. Both steady and unsteady hybrid nanofluid flows are relevant in these contexts.
Originality/value
While the study of hybrid nanofluid flow is well-documented, research focusing on the shrinking flow case with specific parameters in our study is still relatively scarce. This paper contributes to obtaining dual solutions specifically for the shrinking case, which has been less frequently addressed.
