Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of perceived experience with ChatGPT on online consumers' information searching behavior. The study also examines the moderating effects of those relationships.
Design/methodology/approach
Primary data were collected through an online survey. In total, 370 eligible responses were received. This study applied partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) for data analysis.
Findings
The findings demonstrate that both perceived personalization and perceived relevance have a direct impact on online consumers' information searching behaviors. Additionally, the results also indicate that perceived accuracy and perceived convenience lead to positive online consumers' information searching behavior. Moreover, age and gender and education level play moderating mechanisms in this relationship.
Practical implications
Overall, the conclusions of this study provide valuable insights into the potential of ChatGPT to improve online consumers behavior. However, there are still many unanswered questions about the impact of ChatGPT on consumers' experience. Future research is needed to explore these questions and to further our understanding of the potential of ChatGPT to revolutionize online information searching and digital marketing.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this paper is the first of its kind to highlight the impact of perceived experience with ChatGPT on online consumers' information searching behavior of its extensive use in scientific research and academic work. The importance of this study lies in the fact that it presents the behaviors concerns and future fears of people in academia as they cope with and deal with the inevitable reality of artificial intelligence (AI) language models such as ChatGPT.

Abstract
Purpose
Suggestion systems have always been used as the means of continuous development and co-creating values among the employees of organizations. On the other hand, the co-creation has been introduced as a solution to co-create values between companies and customers. Since a simultaneous study on setting up suggestion systems and co-creation among employees and customers have been ignored so far, the purpose of this paper, focussing on the combination of two strategies of suggestion systems (generally more effective among the employees of organizations) and co-creation (studied so far merely the scope of customers), is to evaluate variables leading to intention to use, improvement in understanding the concept of justice, and positive word-of-mouth.
Design/methodology/approach
Two between-subjects experiments were carried out to explore the interactional role of co-creation, reward, and time in efficiency of suggestion systems. The first study which was carried out among customers analyzed the effect of setting up suggestion systems along with co-creation on the amount of their intention to use this system in the future and positive word-of-mouth. The second study discussed the effect of setting up suggestion systems along with co-creation on the level of understanding organizational justice and commitment.
Findings
The results indicate that the effectiveness of co-creation and tangible factors, such as offered reward, on improving the evaluation of suggestion system. In the other word, when firm’s encourage customers to participate in value co-creation program in suggestion system, they perceive more justice and intend to participate more in such program in future.
Originality/value
Most of the previous studies carried out on co-creation considered its effectiveness on occasions when a service failure occurs to consumers and the service provider urgently needs service recovery, but this paper aimed to provide a collaborative perspective toward co-creation through suggestion system that puts emphasis on service experience, innovation, and intention to future participation in such programs.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to focus on the influence of multiple slips on MHD Williamson nanofluid flow embedded in porous medium towards a linearly stretching sheet that has been investigated numerically. The whole analysis has been carried out considering the presence of nth-order chemical reaction between base fluid and nanoparticles.
Design/methodology/approach
A similarity transformation technique has been adopted to convert non-linear governing partial differential equations into ordinary ones and then they are solved by using both the RK-4 method and Laplace transform homotopy perturbation method. The consequences of multiple slip parameters on dimensionless velocity, temperature and concentration and heat and mass transfer rates have been demonstrated using tabular and graphical outline.
Findings
The investigation explores that the Nusselt number reduces for escalating behaviour of velocity slip and thermal slip parameter. Fluid’s temperature rises in the presence of generative reaction parameter.
Originality/value
A fine conformity of the current results has been achieved after comparing with previous literature studies. Considering destructive chemical reaction, reduced Nusselt number is found to decrease, but reverse consequence has been noticed in the case of generative chemical reaction. Mass transport diminishes when the order of chemical reaction amplifies for both destructive and generative reactions.

Purpose
In recent years, futures study methods, especially scenario analysis, are used to plan for disaster and emergency management. Scenario method is suitable for public level policy making. Scenarios generated alternative descriptive futures in all of the development field such as disaster studies. This paper aims to systematically review the articles that generated scenarios in disaster management to attain gaps, challenges and opportunities related to use of scenario analysis in disasters.
Design/methodology/approach
This is a systematic review that was conducted based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The keywords that searched included “disaster,” “emergency,” “crisis,” “disruptive event,” “futures study,” “foresight,” “scenario,” “community-based scenario planning,” “participatory scenario planning,” “scenario planning” and “scenario analysis.” The Google Scholar, ISI Web of Science, Science Direct, PubMed and Scopus databases were searched.
Findings
A total of 981 article gathered after initial search between electronic databases. At final step, only ten articles included in the study. The selected articles compared according to many aspects. Most of the scenarios that developed in disaster management and planning concentrated on climate change and flooding related hazards. Many of studies developed three or four scenarios that it seems the number is suitable for disaster planning.
Originality/value
The paper serves as an original guideline for disaster planning.

Purpose
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of black sesame germination on its nutritional composition and antioxidant activity.
Design/methodology/approach
Germination occurred at constant temperature and humidity (35 °C and 95 ± 5%) for 72 h. The levels of moisture, protein, lipids, ash, total dietary fibre and fractions, carbohydrates, calories, phenolic compounds and antioxidant capacity were determined.
Findings
With germination, there was a significant increase in moisture and protein content, as well as a reduction in the other parameters assessed in terms of nutritional composition. When analysing bioactive compounds, no significant change was found in the content of phenolic compounds; however, there was a reduction in antioxidant capacity according to the three methods tested, which may be related to the characteristics of the grain itself, the conditions used for germination, or even the process of extracting phenolic compounds for analysis. Other conditions for the germination of black sesame using different times and temperatures should be evaluated in future studies.
Originality/value
This is an original research article, which has an industrial and health impact by transmitting highly relevant responses on nutrition and food. The novelty of this research is the fact of studying the germination of black sesame on the nutritional composition (moisture, protein, lipids, ash, total dietary fibre and fractions, carbohydrates and calories), levels of phenolic compounds and antioxidant capacity. These results can help improve the procedures adopted by the food industries and also in nutritional conduct, as the germination process leads to a change in the nutritional composition, especially with regard to protein synthesis, which is relevant, once it is an interesting protein option. However, it also brings us responses to reductions in important nutritional compounds.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that the numerical method is not everything for nonlinear equations. Some properties cannot be revealed numerically; an example is used to elucidate the fact.
Design/methodology/approach
A variational principle is established for the generalized KdV – Burgers equation by the semi-inverse method, and the equation is solved analytically by the exp-function method, and some exact solutions are obtained, including blowup solutions and discontinuous solutions. The solution morphologies are studied by illustrations using different scales.
Findings
Solitary solution is the basic property of nonlinear wave equations. This paper finds some new properties of the KdV–Burgers equation, which have not been reported in open literature and cannot be effectively elucidated by numerical methods. When the solitary solution or the blowup solution is observed on a much small scale, their discontinuous property is first found.
Originality/value
The variational principle can explain the blowup and discontinuous properties of a nonlinear wave equation, and the exp-function method is a good candidate to reveal the solution properties.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to explore the flow of Cu-water and Ag-water nanofluids past a vertical Riga plate. The plate is infinite in height and has zero normal wall flux through its surface. Influence of thermal radiation, slip, suction and chemical reaction on the flow characteristics are reported.
Design/methodology/approach
Non-dimensional forms of the flow governing equations are obtained by means of a set of similarity transformations. Numerical solution is obtained with the help of fourth-fifth-order Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg method with shooting procedure. Comparison of solution profiles of Cu-water and Ag-water nanofluids are presented graphically and with the help of tables. Influence of pertinent parameters on skin friction and heat transfer rate is also reported.
Findings
Results reveal that the skin friction coefficient is more prominent in the case of Ag-water nanofluid for an increase in thermal radiation and volume fraction. The role of suction and slip is to increase velocity but decrease the temperature in both nanofluids. Temperature and velocity of both nanofluids increase as volume fraction and thermal radiation values are augmented. Heat transport increases with thermal radiation. Region near the plate experiences rise in nanoparticle concentration with an increase in chemical reaction parameter.
Originality/value
A complete investigation of the modeled problem is addressed and the results of this paper are original.

Sustainable bioeconomy and smart tourism work together to create a resilient future, with a synergetic smart ecospace. A systemic smart tourism system engages a resilient future with a sustainable bioeconomy. This chapter offers insights from a stakeholder viewpoint in the tourism sector as it delves into an AI-integrated ecosystem. A resilient future encapsulate co-creation and a sustainable outlook with energy-efficient technologies, particularly the role of logistics service providers and green initiatives, investment strategies, sustainable behaviour and green practices with E-vehicles are examined in the travel industry. The chapter indicates a four-quadrant strategy that includes self-sustaining groups in the context of the bio-economy, agile leadership, network management through stakeholder alliances and adaptable governance structures. As a framework for this attempt, the destination competency model emphasises the significance of stakeholder involvement, cooperation, collaboration and coexistence for creating an energy-efficient, sustainable future.

Abstract
Purpose
This research paper aimed to investigate the affordances of using virtual reality (VR) in teaching culture among in-service teachers of teaching Persian to speakers of other languages (TPSOL) in Iran.
Design/methodology/approach
This qualitative case study, conducted at two Iranian universities, used purposeful sampling to select 34 eligible in-service Persian teachers from a pool of 73. Data collection used an open-ended questionnaire and interviews.
Findings
Before the TPSOL in-service training workshop, teachers expressed their reservations regarding the use of VR to teach culture in TPSOL courses. The emerged themes were “skepticism toward effectiveness,” “practicality concerns,” “limited awareness of VR applications,” “technological apprehension” and “prevalence of traditional teaching paradigms.” During the post-workshop interview, it was discovered that the teachers’ perceptions of VR in teaching culture had undergone a positive shift. The workshop generated emergent themes that reflected positive perceptions and affordances for using VR to teach culture in TPSOL, including “enhanced cultural immersion,” “increased student engagement,” “simulation of authentic cultural experiences,” and “facilitation of interactive learning environments.”
Research limitations/implications
One primary limitation is the lack of prior experience with VR for teaching practices in real-world classrooms among the participants. While the study aimed to explore the potential of VR in enhancing pedagogical approaches, the absence of participants with prior exposure to VR in educational contexts may impact the generalizability of the findings to a broader population. Additionally, the study faced practical constraints, such as the unavailability of sufficient facilities in the workshop. As a result, the instructor had to project the VR cont7ent on a monitor, potentially diverging from the immersive nature of true VR experiences. These limitations offer opportunities for future research to refine methodologies and gain a more comprehensive understanding of the implications of integrating VR into teaching practices.
Originality/value
Extensive research has been conducted on the effectiveness of VR in language education. However, there is a significant gap in research on TPSOL, which is considered a less commonly taught language. This study aims to address this gap by exploring the use of VR in the TPSOL through the lenses of in-service teachers. As part of a larger investigation, this qualitative inquiry focuses on the perceptions of in-service teachers about VR, with a particular emphasis on the cultural understanding of the Persian language.
