Abstract
The contribution of epoxy resin‐based surface coatings towards reducing the annual cost to the nation of the effects of corrosion has been appreciated by the paint chemist/technologist, and is being increasingly recognised by engineers, designers and authorities whose task it is to specify special paint systems for protection or decoration. This article surveys the properties and successful applications of these coatings.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to review research on hospital-based shared governance (SG), focussing on its core elements.
Design/methodology/approach
A scoping review was conducted by searching the Medline (Ovid), CINAHL (EBSCO), Medic, ABI/INFORM Collection (ProQuest) and SveMed+ databases using SG and related concepts in hospital settings as search terms (May 1998–February 2019). Only original research articles examining SG were included. The reference lists of the selected articles were reviewed. Data were extracted from the selected articles by charting and then subjected to a thematic analysis.
Findings
The review included 13 original research articles that examined SG in hospital settings. The studied organizations had implemented SG in different ways, and many struggled to obtain satisfactory results. SG was executed within individual professions or multiple professions and was typically implemented at both unit- and organization-levels. The thematic analysis revealed six core elements of SG as follows: professionalism, shared decision-making, evidence-based practice, continuous quality improvement, collaboration and empowerment.
Practical implications
An SG framework for hospital settings was developed based on the core elements of SG, the participants and the organizational levels involved. Hospitals considering SG should prepare for a time-consuming process that requires belief in the core elements of SG. The SG framework can be used as a tool to implement and strengthen SG in organizations.
Originality/value
The review resumes the tradition of systematically reviewing SG literature, which had not been done in the 21st century. General tendencies of the research scene and research gaps are pointed out.

Abstract
Objective of the study is to determine the factors effecting successful women leadership and to draw a comparison between Thailand and Malaysia. Primary data were collected from both countries. Quantitative research approach was used in this study by using a cross-sectional research design. Population of the study was based on the textile companies of Thailand and Malaysia. Employees of textile companies were selected as the respondents. Partial Least Square (PLS) was used for data analysis. Results of the study found that learning autonomy, emotional intelligence, political differences and organization culture (OC) are the major factor which effect on successful women leadership in both countries. Moreover, in both countries, learning autonomy, emotional intelligence and OC have positive role in successful women leadership, however, political differences effect negatively on successful women leadership. Additionally, there is a difference between both countries, in case of moderating role of political differences and OC. In Thailand, OC has positive role to enhance women leadership through emotional intelligence. In case of Malaysia, political differences weaken the positive relationship between the emotional intelligence and successful women leadership.

Abstract
The basis and the extent of theoretical induced velocity calculations are reviewed. The theory is then applied to interference problems involving additional rotors, wings, and tails in the flow. For such cases, the interference effects can be calculated with acceptable accuracy. For hovering, superposition is used to introduce ground effect into the calculations. The resulting flow field offers a qualitative explanation of several previously observed phenomena. It is shown that, because of assumptions inherent in the analysis, the present induced‐flow theory cannot be used to predict the detailed aerodynamic loading on the rotor blades.

Abstract
Purpose
A lack of research has reported how playful gamification is applied to adult learners as an idea of andragogical instruction. Thus, this study aims to identify how the concept of gamification was used for adult learners in an online class during the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on learning performance and motivation with the guidance of Knowles' andragogical principle.
Design/methodology/approach
The study applied an explanatory sequential mixed method in collecting the data. Assessments' scores during the experimental research and questionnaires were used as the quantitative data. For the qualitative data, personal semi-structured interviews were employed.
Findings
The findings indicate that gamification raises student enthusiasm and interest and improves learning outcomes. Students who previously lacked attentiveness to the online class are now waiting for game quiz activities during the class meeting. Furthermore, the experimental groups reported statistically improved assessments compared to their counterparts. Indeed, some recommended other courses with whole activities of gamification and discussion rather than listening to talks.
Originality/value
For its implications, this study has enriched the literature on gamification implementation for adult learners. Regarding its originality, it has discussed an old issue of Knowles' andragogical principle from the novelty angle of gamification.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to outline the conceptualization, design and implementation process of an escape room-style game for first-year student orientation sessions hosted by a combined academic unit including a university library, archives and museum. The game can be customized and adapted for a variety of learning environments and purposes.
Design/methodology/approach
Breakout EDU kits have been used to create escape room-style games to teach curricular content in new and engaging ways. This orientation session was designed to teach new students how to find and use essential collections and resources on each of the unit’s websites by using a fun, collaborative and engaging game.
Findings
According to post-orientation survey responses, an average of nearly 80% of all new students felt that the Breakout EDU orientation game was either “Moderately Effective” or “Very Effective” in preparing them for their first day of classes. Documented observational assessments further suggest that students had fun playing the game and appreciated the hands-on approach to library orientation.
Originality/value
Although the use of both digital and non-digital games in library orientations are heavily documented, there has been very little research conducted on the use of escape rooms in this context, and almost no research has been conducted on the use of Breakout EDU kits for library orientations. This paper provides a practical example of how academic libraries can incorporate a customizable and highly engaging escape room-style game into first-year orientation sessions of nearly all sizes.

Abstract
Social movement scholars have profitably used framing theory to understand how movement demands resonate within different political and cultural climates. To be more useful, however, the theory's analytic vocabulary needs to be sharpened and clarified. To that end, this paper specifies the relationships between collective action frames, master frames, and ideology through a case study of the living wage movement. While concepts such as frame-bridging are critical in understanding how social movement demands resonate, these ideas need to be broadened to show how movements go beyond “fit” in negotiating the tension between their aspirations and the sobering realities of politics. I use the term economics of morality to convey the difficulty inherent in translating moral demands into policy solutions. A successful framing strategy must be pragmatic enough to compromise for short-term goals, but only in a manner that does not undermine the integrity of a movement's ideals and its long-term vision.

Abstract
Purpose
This study seeks to show whether workplace experience (WE) in an apprenticeship programme affects the duration of joblessness amongst recent university graduates and to determine the antecedents that support a workplace well-being experience during an apprenticeship programme. Additionally, the research introduces the moderating effect of gender in order better to understand under what circumstances apprenticeship reduces the time taken to find employment.
Design/methodology/approach
The research proposes PLS equation modelling constructed with a sample of 129 students from the Business Administration and Management degree at Mondragon University.
Findings
The research finds that social support and job demand are key features of work that should be addressed to ensure a workplace well-being experience in an apprenticeship programme. In addition, a workplace well-being experience during apprenticeship reduced the time taken by students to access their first job. This means that job training in a company helps students get their first job, but it is not the primary factor. The study also shows that men who had workplace well-being experience in an apprenticeship programme take less time to find their first job.
Originality/value
The study proposes an exclusive analysis of apprenticeship programmes in higher education systems from the perspective of workplace well-being experience, based on the DCS model. This research also adds to the literature on apprenticeship by providing evidence that a positive experience of work during an apprenticeship programme facilitates undergraduate students in securing employment. Furthermore, this paper confirms that workplace well-being experiences in apprenticeship programmes constitute a valid tool for tackling youth unemployment, and finds that it is more efficient amongst males than females.
