Abstract

Continuous motion technology allows very high machine outputs for assembly and test operations. This paper presents the main advantages of continuous motion process compared to slower ones, five case histories of very difficult component/machine interference at very high speed that we succeeded to overcome, and a recommendation on how this kind of situation should be managed between the customer and the machine builder.
