Abstract
Purpose
This research delves into consumer online shopping behaviour during the different phases of the COVID-19 pandemic, utilising the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Behavioural Inhibition System.
Design/methodology/approach
A unique and comprehensive repeated cross-sectional methodology was meticulously employed, capturing the nuances of consumer online shopping behaviour across three distinct phases of the pandemic: the initial phase following the outbreak of COVID-19, the transition phase marked by the relaxation of restrictions, and the adaptation phase as society moved towards a new normal. The study involved a sample of 1,155 participants. Structural equation modelling was used to analyse the effects of behavioural attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioural control, and the moderating role of pandemic-induced consumer anxiety on online purchase intention.
Findings
The impact of behavioural attitudes on online purchase intentions increased continuously from the initial phase to the adaptation phase. In contrast, the influence of subjective norms on online shopping intentions gradually declined over the same period. During the early stages of the pandemic, consumer anxiety amplified the influence of personal attitudes towards online shopping while diminishing the impact of social pressures on the same behaviour.
Originality/value
This study’s originality lies in its nuanced analysis of how online purchase intentions evolved across different stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, integrating insights from both the Theory of Planned Behaviour and the Behavioural Inhibition System. The study offers a comprehensive understanding of the shifts in consumer behaviour over time. It enables more strategic and proactive marketing tactics in a changing environment.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to focus on how preservice teachers' academic achievements, their frequencies of connecting to the distance learning management system, their gender and the related sub-scales influence their Web-based self-efficacies (WEB-PCK) and their attitudes towards distance education (WBI).
Design/methodology/approach
In the study, the structural equality model was used. In the path analysis, the maximum likelihood estimation method was used to predict the parameters of the model. This method allows determining the highest values for the population and the probability of the sample value to occur.
Findings
It was found that the sub-scale of Web communication (WEB-C) had a high level of direct and positive influence on the male preservice teachers' self-efficacy perceptions. As for the female preservice teachers, WEB-C did not have any direct influence on their self-efficacy perceptions. For the male preservice teachers, Web pedagogy (WEB-PC) had positive influence on their self-efficacy perceptions (β = 0.193), while the sub-scale of WEB-PC had a high level of influence on the female preservice teachers' self-efficacy perceptions (β = 0.534).
Originality/value
In the study, the purpose of was to examine the effects of the attitudes of the preservice teachers towards Web general (WEB-G), Web-Communication (WEB-C), Web pedagogical knowledge (WEB-PK), Web pedagogical self-efficacy (WEB-PCK) and Web-based instruction (WBI) with the help of the structural equation model with respect to gender, frequency of connection to the internet and academic achievement grades.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to define the outcomes of bullying at work. In that sense, the study tries to define the effect of bullying at work on work alienation and the roles of political behavior perception and organizational alienation in this effect.
Design/methodology/approach
The study collects data from lecturers from a university in Turkey by using questionnaires. Structural equation model is used to test hypotheses.
Findings
The findings of the study show that political behavior perception has a mediating role over the effect of bullying at work on work alienation, and also that organizational alienation has a mediating role over the effect of political behavior perception on work alienation.
Practical implications
The study confirms that perception of bullying at work is determinant on the level of work alienation; thus, it is important to minimize bullying perception. This study shows both researchers and organizations that further potential vital problems to arise as a result of bullying will diminish once bullying at work is decreased.
Originality/value
The research tries to define the consecutives of bullying within a multi-level point of view. Additionally, as per the authors’ knowledge, there are no other studies in the literature that handle the related variables altogether.
