Abstract
Librarians at the University of Arizona (UA) actively contribute to the university's instructional process. A library skills program started in the mid‐1970s is required of all students taking freshman English. Course‐related instruction, integrated with many undergraduate classes, brings thousands of students into the library each year. In addition, librarians give seminars presenting online resources and software products of interest to faculty members.
