Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to examine Bitcoin's price behavior across market conditions, focusing on the influence of Bitcoin's historical prices, news sentiment and market indicators like oil prices, gold and the S&P index. The authors also assess the stability of Bitcoin-inclusive hedging portfolios under different market conditions, for example, bearish, bullish and moderate market states.
Design/methodology/approach
This study uses the Quantile Autoregressive Distributed Lag model to explore the effects of different factors on Bitcoin's prices across various market situations. This method allows for a detailed analysis of historical trends, investor expectations and external market influences on Bitcoin's price movements and systematic stability.
Findings
Key findings reveal historical prices and investor expectations significantly influence Bitcoin in all market scenarios, with news sentiment exhibiting substantial volatility. This study indicates that oil prices have minimal impacts on Bitcoin, whereas gold is a stabilizing asset in bear markets, with the S&P index influencing short-term fluctuations. At the same time, Bitcoin's volatility varies with market conditions, proving more efficient as a hedging tool in bear and stable markets than in bull ones.
Originality/value
This study highlights the intrinsic correlation between Bitcoin's prices, news sentiment and financial market indicators, enhancing understanding of Bitcoin's market dynamics. The authors demonstrate Bitcoin's weak direct correlation with commodities like oil, the stabilizing role of gold in crypto portfolios and the stock market's indirect effect on Bitcoin prices. By examining these factors' impacts across various market conditions, the findings offer strategies for investors to improve hedging and portfolio management in cryptocurrency markets.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to investigate the process and result of urban public space regeneration (UPSR) plans in Tokyo's urban center under the guidance of Urban Renaissance. It aims to clarify why public space has a close relationship with urbanization and urban regeneration, and why compact and diverse urban public spaces can promote public life.
Design/methodology/approach
Firstly, this paper investigated urbanization and urban renaissance in Tokyo, and analyzed the motivation for implementing UPSR from the perspective of urban policy. By on-the-spot investigations and literature materials, this paper introduced urban regeneration measures of Roppongi Hills to Toranomon Hills, and then summarized the similarities and differences between Roppongi Hills and Toranomon Hills by studying them on the basis of contrast.
Findings
UPSR had been an important component of the re-urbanization process and an essential method of strengthening urban vitality. Moreover, it promotes the development of polycentric urban structure and the return of population to urban center. First, the UPSR pattern integrating vertical space and street space can form a net-shaped urban life circle. Second, more diversified public activities can serve more varied groups of people.
Originality/value
This paper systematically analyzes the development reasons and process of UPSR project in Tokyo from both internal and external factors, and summarizes the future development direction of public space through the comparison of the two projects, and provides a reference for urban public space renewal in the future.

Drawing on theories of social information processing and social identity, the authors explore how abusive supervision climate affects team creativity in a Chinese cultural context. The authors propose that this relation will be mediated by collective efficacy and group identification and moderated by task interdependence
Design/methodology/approach
The study conducted a confirmatory factor analysis and hierarchical regression to analyze the paired data from 67 research and development (R&D) teams involving 378 employees and employers in a Chinese cultural context.
Findings
Results demonstrate that abusive supervision climate was negatively related to team creativity, fully mediated by collective efficacy and group identification in a Chinese cultural context. In addition, task interdependence strengthened the positive relation between collective efficacy and team creativity, as well the positive relation between group identification and team creativity.
Originality/value
Although research has explored how abusive supervision climate influences individual creativity, few studies have investigated the relation between abusive supervision climate and team creativity in a Chinese cultural context. This study is one of the first to explore how abusive supervision climate affects team creativity in a Chinese cultural context and examine the moderating role of task interdependence in the relation between abusive supervision climate and team creativity.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to examine why employees hide knowledge and how organizations intervene and influence the negative effects of knowledge hiding. This study builds and tests a theoretical model at both individual and team level.
Design/methodology/approach
Data were collected from universities, research institutes and enterprises’ research and development (R&D) teams in China via a two-wave survey. The final sample contained 417 cases. Hierarchical linear modeling was used to test hypotheses.
Findings
The results show that territoriality plays a mediating role between psychological ownership and knowledge hiding, and that organizational result justice negatively moderated the relationship between territoriality and knowledge hiding. Procedure justice negatively moderated the relationship between territoriality and rationalized hiding, and that between territoriality and evasive hiding. Interactive justice negatively moderated the relationship between territoriality and rationalized hiding, and that between territoriality and evasive hiding. There were thus interactive effects among territoriality, perceived knowledge value and psychological ownership; the relationship between individual psychological ownership and territoriality was weaker when perceived knowledge value was lower and task interdependence was higher, and stronger with higher perceived knowledge value and lower task interdependence.
Research limitations/implications
Territorial behaviors, such as knowledge hoarding and misleading within R&D teams, are the primary challenges for organizations’ positive activities, including internal sharing, teamwork and organizational goal accomplishment. Researching knowledge territoriality in the Chinese cultural context will help to distinguish territorial behaviors and to take preventive measures. In addition, this study not only enables managers to understand clearly the precipitating factors of knowledge territoriality and the relationships among them but also provides constructive strategies for reducing the negative effect of organizational intervention in knowledge territoriality.
Originality/value
This study adopts a multilevel modeling method and not only reveals the “black box” of interaction among psychological ownership, territoriality and knowledge hiding at the individual level but also probes the three-way interaction of perceived knowledge value, team task dependency and psychological ownership with territoriality at both individual and team levels, and then discusses the mediation effect of organizational justice on the relationship between territoriality and knowledge hiding. The conclusion of this study not only enriches the literature on knowledge hiding in the field of knowledge management but also helps to elucidate the function and intervention mechanism of knowledge hiding.

Abstract
Purpose
To identify the dexterity of spacesuit gloves, they need to undergo bending tests in the development process. The ideal way is to place a humanoid robotic hand into the spacesuit glove, mimicking the motions of a human hand and measuring the bending angle/force of the spacesuit glove. However, traditional robotic hands are too large to enter the narrow inner space of the spacesuit glove and perform measurements. This paper aims to design a humanoid robot hand that can wear spacesuit gloves and perform measurements.
Design/methodology/approach
The proposed humanoid robotic hand is composed of five modular fingers and a parallel wrist driven by electrical linear motors. The fingers and wrist can be delivered into the spacesuit glove separately and then assembled inside. A mathematical model of the robotic hand is formulated by using the geometric constraints and principle of virtual work to analyze the kinematics and statics of the robotic hand. This model allows for estimating the bending angle and output force/torque of the robotic hand through the displacement and force of the linear motors.
Findings
A prototype of the robotic hand, as well as its testing benches, was constructed to validate the presented methods. The experimental results show that the whole robotic hand can be transported to and assembled in a spacesuit glove to measure the motion characteristics of the glove.
Originality/value
The proposed humanoid robotic hand provides a new method for wearing and measuring the spacesuit glove. It can also be used to other gloves for special protective suits that have highly restricted internal space.

Purpose
Despite workplace cheating behavior is common and costly, little research has explored its antecedents from customers' perspective. The current study aims to investigate the indirect mechanisms between customer mistreatment and cheating behavior, and exam the moderated role of traditionality.
Design/methodology/approach
Drawing on conservation of resources theory, the authors examine how customer mistreatment affects workplace cheating behavior. They test their hypotheses using a time-lagged field study of 183 employees.
Findings
The results show that customer mistreatment is positively related to interpersonal conflict with customers, which positively affects workplace cheating behavior. Traditionality moderates the indirect effect of customer mistreatment on workplace cheating behavior.
Originality/value
This study calls for researchers' attention to exploring the antecedents of workplace cheating behavior from customers' perspective, and first provides empirical evidence on the relationship between customer mistreatment and workplace cheating behavior, which has never been examined.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to explore the transmission mechanism of individual idea generation on team idea implementation and elucidate the relationships among team knowledge territoriality, team information exchange and team trust, which can better improve team knowledge sharing, decrease individual knowledge hiding or territoriality and assist the team in solving the predicament of idea implementation.
Design/methodology/approach
The data were collected by the paired method from 56 Chinese companies’ R&D teams, which comprised 356 valid samples. Besides, structure equitation modeling and hierarchical linear modeling were used to test the hypotheses.
Findings
Team knowledge territoriality had a significant positive impact on individual idea generation, team information exchange and team idea implementation. Team information exchange mediated the relationship between team knowledge territoriality and team idea implementation. Moreover, team information exchange positively moderated the relationship between team knowledge territoriality and individual idea generation. Furthermore, the relationship between individual idea generation and team idea implementation was mediated by team trust.
Originality/value
This study augments the theoretical research of territoriality and innovation process. From the viewpoint of knowledge territoriality to describe the coexistence of knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding in the organization, this study reveals the influence mechanism of team knowledge territoriality on team innovation process. Overall, this study provides empirical support that team territoriality can weaken the adverse impact of individual territoriality on innovation to a certain extent.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to propose a method for selecting the position and attitude trajectory of error measurement to improve the kinematic calibration efficiency of a one translational and two rotational (1T2R) parallel power head and to improve the error compensation effect by improving the properties of the error identification matrix.
Design/methodology/approach
First, a general mapping model between the endpoint synthesis error is established and each geometric error source. Second, a model for optimizing the position and attitude trajectory of error measurement based on sensitivity analysis results is proposed, providing a basis for optimizing the error measurement trajectory of the mechanism in the working space. Finally, distance error measurement information and principal component analysis (PCA) ideas are used to construct an error identification matrix. The robustness and compensation effect of the identification algorithm were verified by simulation and through experiments.
Findings
Through sensitivity analysis, it is found that the distribution of the sensitivity coefficient of each error source in the plane of the workspace can approximately represent its distribution in the workspace, and when the end of the mechanism moves in a circle with a large nutation angle, the comprehensive influence coefficient of each sensitivity is the largest. Residual analysis shows that the robustness of the identification algorithm with the idea of PCA is improved. Through experiments, it is found that the compensation effect is improved.
Originality/value
A model for optimizing the position and attitude trajectory of error measurement is proposed, which can effectively improve the error measurement efficiency of the 1T2R parallel mechanism. In addition, the PCA idea is introduced. A least-squares PCA error identification algorithm that improves the robustness of the identification algorithm by improving the property of the identification matrix is proposed, and the compensation effect is improved. This method has been verified by experiments on 1T2R parallel mechanism and can be extended to other similar parallel mechanisms.

Creativity and innovation are crucial in improving the organizational performance and sustaining competitive advantage. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between knowledge hiding and team creativity.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors tested the hypotheses with a sample of 87 knowledge worker teams involving 393 employees and employers in China.
Findings
Knowledge hiding is negatively related to team creativity, fully mediated by absorptive capacity. In addition, the negative relationship between knowledge hiding and absorptive capacity would be weakened by task interdependence.
Practical implications
Team managers should take measures to avoid the development of knowledge hiding, which is indirectly related to team creativity via absorptive capacity within a team, and motivate team members to share more knowledge by training to improve their feelings of accountability, responsibility, and duty. In addition, managers can decrease knowledge hiding by strengthening within-team task interdependence.
Originality/value
This study is one of the first to investigate the relationship between knowledge hiding and team creativity and the moderating role of task interdependence in the relationship between knowledge hiding and absorptive capacity.

Purpose
Customer service is crucial for organizations' survival and competitiveness in the hospitality industry. The purpose of this study is to examine how and when servant leadership affects extra-role customer service.
Design/methodology/approach
The hypotheses were tested with a sample of 302 employees from a passenger transport company in China.
Findings
Results demonstrate that servant leadership was positively related to extra-role customer service and that this relation was mediated by relational identification. In addition, the mediating effect of relational identification in the relation between servant leadership and extra-role customer service was contingent on prosocial motivation.
Originality/value
The study is the first to explore the relation between servant leadership and extra-role customer service from the perspective of relational identification and the moderating role of prosocial motivation.
