Abstract
Purpose
To provide human judgment input for computer algorithm development, this study examines the relative importance of source, content, and style cues in predicting the truthfulness ratings of two common types of online health information: news stories and institutional news releases.
Design/methodology/approach
This study employed a multi-method approach using (1) a manual content analysis of 400 randomly selected online health news stories and news releases from HealthNewsReview.org and (2) an online experiment comparing truthfulness ratings between news stories and news releases.
Findings
Using content analysis, the authors found significant differences in the importance of source, content, and style cues in predicting truthfulness ratings of news stories and news releases: source and style cues predicted truthfulness ratings better than content cues. In the experiment, source credibility was the most important predictor of truthfulness ratings, controlling for individual differences. Experts have higher ratings for news media stories than news releases and lay people have no differences in rating the two news formats.
Practical implications
It is important for health educators to curb consumer trust in misinformation and increase health information literacy. Rather than solely reporting scientific evidence, educators should focus on addressing cues people use to judge the truthfulness of health information.
Originality/value
This is the first study that directly compares human judgments of health news stories and news releases. Using both the breadth of content analysis and experimental causality testing, the authors evaluate the relative importance of source, content, and style cues in predicting truthfulness ratings.

Abstract
Purpose
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were established by the UN in 2015 as an international call to action to end poverty, protect the environment, and ensure that everyone will live in peace and prosperity by the year 2030. (UNDP, 2015). Out of the 17 Goals, Goal 4 talks about “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.” The SDGs are essential to architectural education since buildings account for 40% of extracted materials used in construction and 39% of global energy-related carbon emissions. (Hendawy, 2023) To accomplish these objectives, the architecture curriculum must be up-to-date and efficient. It specifically takes into account the field of architecture. The purpose of this paper is to propose a framework for curriculum guidelines of B.Arch. design studios, focusing on the parameter designing for inclusivity (UIA2023CPH, 2020) of SDGs.
Design/methodology/approach
Models, approaches and theories of curriculum development are studied. An evaluation matrix is made to evaluate different curriculum framework for government colleges on their incorporation of SDGs. A survey/questionnaire and interviews with academicians from architecture are conducted to analyze the incorporation of SDGs in design studios and find recommended solutions for its incorporation.
Findings
Finally, this research paper proposes a set of Architecture curriculum guidelines based on the evaluation framework for B.Arch. and an exemplary curriculum design model for the Architecture design studio which is evaluated through the desk critique stage for analyzing its functionality and applicability.
Originality/value
Despite the emphasis on SDGs in the present scenario, the “Council Of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architecture Education in India) Regulations, 2020” does not include or mention SDGs as a key aspect (Architecture, 2020).

Abstract
Purpose: Preserving a country’s culture is crucial for its sustainability. Handicraft is a key draw for tourism destinations; it protects any civilisation’s indigenous knowledge and culture by managing the historical, economic, and ecological ecosystems and perfectly aligns with sustainable development. It has a significant role in creating employment, especially in rural regions and is an essential contributor to the export economy, mainly in developing nations. The study focuses on the skills required and existing gaps in the handicraft industry, its development and prospects by considering women and their role in preserving and embodying the traditional art of making handicrafts.
Approach: A framework has been developed for mapping and analysing the skills required in the handicraft sector using econometric modelling; an enormous number of skills have been crowdsourced from the respondents, and machine learning techniques have been used.
Findings: The findings of the study revealed that employment in this area is dependent not only on general or specialised skills but also on complex matrix skills ranging from punctuality to working in unclean and unsafe environments, along with a set of personal qualities, such as taking initiatives and specific skills, for example polishing and colour coding.
Implications: The skills mapping technique utilised in this study is applicable globally, particularly for women indulged in casual work in developing nations’ handicrafts industry. The sustainable development goals, tourism, and handicrafts are all interconnected. The research includes understanding skills mapping, which provides insights into efficient job matching by incorporating preferences and studying the demand side of casual working by women in the handicraft sector from a skills perspective.

Abstract
Purpose
The growing pressure on businesses to balance environmental sustainability with profit maximisation has led to the development of green entrepreneurial orientation (GEO), which proactively integrates green practices into core business operations. Grounded in the ecological modernisation theory, GEO acts as a green management practice which helps in achieving competitiveness through environmental innovation. However, despite the growing emphasis on GEO, there remains a gap in understanding how specific drivers influence the organisational structures and processes that lead to GEO. Therefore, the study addresses this gap by analysing the key drivers of GEO using an integrated approach.
Design/methodology/approach
In this study, total interpretive structural modelling (TISM) and cross-impact matrix multiplication applied to classification (MICMAC) were used to identify and interpret the interrelationship between key drivers of GEO. Here, TISM technique aided in constructing a contextual relationship-based structural model of drivers, whereas MICMAC assisted in categorising the drivers based on their driving and dependence power. A case evaluation was also carried out in the Indian textile industry to validate the TISM model.
Findings
The result indicates that institutional pressure, managerial environment concern, organisational resilience and big data analytical capabilities are the most influential drivers of GEO at organisational level, and other drivers act as secondary and linked variables in this process. The MICMAC analysis further supports the results of TISM. In addition, the overall TISM model is validated in the Indian textile sector.
Practical implications
The study findings will assist researchers and policymakers in adopting a systematic approach to prioritise GEO in pollution intensive industries. Moreover, it will help managers in leveraging GEO to achieve strategic advantages amid environmental challenges.
Originality/value
This study is amongst the first to employ an integrated qualitative approach to analyse drivers of GEO.

In recent years, “Corporate Social Responsibility” (CSR) has gained significant traction as a strategic concept embraced by business managers. However, there remains a dearth of comprehensive research exploring the impact of CSR on “Green Entrepreneurial Orientation” (GEO), a firm’s sustainability performance, and their interplay with other influential factors. Therefore, this study aims to explore how CSR, “Policy Awareness” (PA), and “Personal Innovativeness” (PI) influence GEO and “Sustainable Performance” (SP). The research also delves into understanding the mediating role of GEO and how this mediation is moderated by “Green Innovation” (GI).
Design/methodology/approach
Drawing from the “natural resource-based view” (NRBV) theory and employing “partial least square structural equation modeling” (PLS-SEM), the study analyzed a sample of 137 Indian manufacturing “micro, small, and medium enterprises” (MSMEs).
Findings
The results underscore the positive associations of CSR and PA with both GEO and SP. Additionally, the findings highlight the moderating effects of GI in enhancing firms' sustainability performance. The moderated mediation analysis reveals that CSR significantly contributes to SP by fostering the adoption of GEO.
Research limitations/implications
These study outcomes offer valuable insights for policymakers, managers, and entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of crafting effective CSR strategies intertwined with innovativeness to cultivate a conducive green entrepreneurial ecosystem in businesses aligned with sustainable development goals.
Originality/value
There is a paucity of research on the determinants of GEO within the context of manufacturing MSMEs, especially in developing and underdeveloped nations. Furthermore, no previous study has delved into the factors that underlie GEO using a moderated mediation framework, particularly within the Indian manufacturing MSMEs landscape.

Abstract
Sustainable tourism will be an appropriate strategy to be promoted during the post COVID-19 pandemic, as this is a turning point for the tourism industry to grab the unique chance to have a true reset by focussing on achieving long-term sustainability and a shift from a ‘me to we’ economy. To support sustainable tourism and foster future success in the tourism industry, the process of integrating green knowledge and knowledge management can begin with entrepreneurial education in higher education institutions (HEIs). However, empirical research on university students' green entrepreneurial intention in sustainable tourism has not been exhaustively studied. Additionally, there is a need to further explore knowledge management process and entrepreneurial learning in HEIs. Hence, the aim of this study is to analyze knowledge management as a technique to explore the green entrepreneurial intention of students in HEIs in sustaining Malaysia's tourism post COVID-19 pandemic. Exploratory research with quantitative analysis was conducted through partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that there is a positive and significant relationship between green entrepreneurial knowledge and green entrepreneurial intention in sustainable tourism among university business students. Additionally, knowledge revision and conceptual change positively and significantly influence green entrepreneurial knowledge and green entrepreneurial intention in sustainable tourism. However, knowledge application has no impact on green entrepreneurial knowledge and green entrepreneurial intention. The results of this study also reveal that green entrepreneurial knowledge does not have a mediation effect on green entrepreneurial intention. The present work contributes by going beyond the study of entrepreneurial intention, as the research focusses on interconnection among these three major areas: knowledge management, sustainable tourism, and entrepreneurship education post COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, the combination of these diverse aspects in this study provides insights to educators and policy makers to investigate the importance of green entrepreneurial knowledge and benefits of knowledge management that can be integrated into entrepreneurship education for current and future sustainable tourism development.

Abstract
Purpose
This study investigates the interactions between entrepreneurial orientation, strategic agility and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in influencing sustained competitive advantage in Moroccan small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Additionally, it analyzed the influence of competitive intensity, firm size and age on attaining sustained competitive advantage.
Design/methodology/approach
We employed a dual approach to analyze 300 Moroccan SMEs, joining partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) and necessary condition analysis (NCA). PLS-SEM was utilized to maximize the explained variance of endogenous constructs and handle mediation effects, aligning with the study’s explanatory purpose. The NCA was used to identify necessary conditions for sustained competitive advantage by examining the extent to which the conditions (i.e. entrepreneurial orientation, strategic agility and CSR) are present in all cases where sustained competitive advantage is present.
Findings
The PLS-SEM analysis found that entrepreneurial orientation positively influences sustained competitive advantage and CSR and strategic agility partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and sustained competitive advantage and between entrepreneurial orientation and CSR. The NCA results imply that CSR, entrepreneurial orientation and strategic agility have small but significant effect sizes, indicating they are necessary conditions for achieving higher levels of sustained competitive advantage. Additionally, firm age and size are not necessary conditions.
Originality/value
This study provides a more comprehensive understanding of entrepreneurial orientation influencing sustained competitive advantage in SMEs. It challenges previous beliefs regarding the impact of CSR on sustained competitive advantage, particularly in the Moroccan SME context. Contrary to expectations, the findings indicate that CSR does not significantly impact sustained competitive advantage or mediate the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and sustained competitive advantage. The NCA results further develop these findings by revealing that CSR is a necessary condition only for achieving upper levels of sustained competitive advantage in Moroccan SMEs.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this article is to examine the effects of green internal orientation and external orientation on firm performance and to evaluate the mediating role of green absorptive capacity in this effect. It also investigates the moderating role of environmental culture in the relationship between green absorptive capacity and firm performance.
Design/methodology/approach
This study was conducted based on field research with surveys conducted on 343 technology-oriented companies operating in Istanbul. SmartPLS 4 statistical software was used to analyze the data.
Findings
Research results show that green internal and external orientation has a positive and significant effect on firm performance. Additionally, green absorptive capacity has a mediating role in this effect. It has been determined that environmental culture plays a moderating role in the relationship between green absorptive capacity and firm performance.
Research limitations/implications
This study has some limitations; for example, the fact that the data was obtained only from technology-focused companies in Istanbul may limit generalizability. However, this research makes important contributions to our understanding of the effects of green internal and external orientation on firm performance and the mediating effect of green absorptive capacity.
Practical implications
This study shows that strengthening businesses’ green internal and external orientations and improving their green absorptive capacity can increase firm performance. It is also an important warning to businesses that environmental culture can play an important role in these relationships.
Social implications
Strengthening green internal and external orientation and improving green absorptive capacity can provide social benefits through their contributions to environmental sustainability. This study can help businesses take steps to reduce their environmental impact and achieve a sustainable future.
Originality/value
This study is one of the few studies examining the effects of green internal and external orientation on firm performance and the mediating role of green absorptive capacity. Additionally, it makes a unique contribution by focusing on the moderating role of environmental culture in these relationships. This study can be a valuable guide for businesses in developing environmental sustainability strategies.

Abstract
Pakistan is one of the most climate change and natural disaster-affected countries in the globe, where the lives and livelihoods of people are repeatedly affected due to these natural disasters. Over the past few decades, the country has been impacted by numerous devastating floods, droughts, and storms. As a result, households face enormous complications, particularly those dwelling in disaster-prone areas. Therefore, this study intends to explore the status of household vulnerability and resilience practices of hazard-prone communities in Pakistan from existing literature. This study has identified the 17 most relevant documents. It argues that household vulnerability is increasing consistently with the increasing rate of disaster intensity. Frequent flooding, landslide, erosion, and crop loss are the leading causes of household vulnerability. This study reveals five types of household vulnerability components which look into several livelihood vulnerability indicators of Pakistani households. Moreover, the study unfolds that the main causes of disaster vulnerability are widespread crop loss, a lack of water, loss of soil fertility, and low socioeconomic situations. The major vulnerability components of dwellers are exposure (increasing summer duration, the rapid increase of population house build-up in the riparian areas, and increasing occurrence of hailstorms), sensitivity, low access to education facilities, human loss, diseases infestation, food insecurity, and social conflict), and less adaptive capacity (social networks, migration, poor emergency services, multiple income sources, and less access to the health facility). To address the household vulnerability, this study has also identified four key aspects of resilience, like social resilience, economic resilience, institutional resilience, and physical resilience. The findings will effectively help to understand the dynamics of household vulnerability and resilience and its measurement and management strategy from developed indicators.
