Abstract
This study has been conducted to understand the elements of the employee health and safety climate in a steel factory with 1,200 employees, the focus was on employee participation and communication, which are at the center of the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Management System standard. The main aim has been to provide the framework to manage OHS risks and opportunities. Data were obtained through 14 focus group (FG) interviews with 133 blue- and gray-collar workers, including foremen, assistant foremen, shift supervisors, and engineers, in February 2023. The data were analyzed using the MAXQDA 2022 qualitative data analysis program. It was aimed to create a unique inductive model from the data collected under nine themes, and the model was created with grounded theory based on detecting, defining, and integrating meaning categories in the qualitative research literature. Analyses focused on the themes of communication and participation, modeled as “intervening variables” in the study conducted with a qualitative method. The results revealed that effective communication, including providing direct information to employees and establishing trust-based relationships, training and development programs and interventions strengthening employees’ approaches related to OHS are required. Employee participation in work and decisions, as an act of doing–learning–understanding related to real life, has the power to transform employee behavior more than issues that are “known on paper.” Additionally, in terms of social sustainability, it is important to underline for employees to be heard in the process of creating successful workplaces that ensure employee well-being.

Abstract
Purpose
The dynamics of an emerging green entrepreneurship can be different in the emerging markets because the nature of the society and relations of business are different. As a result of these differences, green entrepreneurship also has distinguished dimensions and specific motivations. The purpose of this paper is to analyze individual cases of green entrepreneurs to understand local drivers and dynamics from the perspectives of ecological modernization and the network society theories.
Design/methodology/approach
Qualitative methodology was followed in which the data were gathered via semi-structured interviews and a content analysis was executed to analyze the data.
Findings
Time relativity, relatedness and altruism were found to be the most differentiated factors among other drivers for green entrepreneurs.
Originality/value
The theories mentioned that the quality and quantity of entrepreneurs are not enough for the expected results; the society and networks of society also should push or pull. Nevertheless, to explain this, we may say Turkey has its own special dynamics. Heritage or own roots are very important and are observed for all participants. Also not legislation but practice of these legislations is another constraint in front of Turkish entrepreneurs.

Abstract
Purpose
The main purpose of this study is to detect homogeneous housing market areas among 196 districts of 5 major cities of Turkey in terms of house sale price indices. The second purpose is to forecast these 196 house sale price indices.
Design/methodology/approach
In this paper, the authors use the monthly house sale price indices of 196 districts of 5 major cities of Turkey. The authors propose an autoregressive (AR) model-based fuzzy clustering approach to detect homogeneous housing market areas and to forecast house price indices.
Findings
The AR model-based fuzzy clustering approach detects three numbers of homogenous property market areas among 196 districts of 5 major cities of Turkey where house sale price moves together (or with similar house sales dynamic). This approach also provides better forecasting results compared to standard AR models by higher data efficiency and lower model validation and maintenance effort.
Research limitations/implications
In this study, the authors could not use any district-based socioeconomic and consumption behavioral indicators and any discrete geographical and property characteristics because of the data limitation.
Practical implications
The finding of this study would help property investors for establishing more effective property management strategies by taking different geographical location conditions into account.
Social implications
From the government side, knowing future rises, falls and turning points of property prices in different locations can allow the government to monitor the property price changes and control the speculation activities that cause a dramatic change in the market.
Originality/value
There is no previous research paper focusing on neighborhood-based clusters and forecasting house sale price indices in Turkey. At this point, it is the first academic study.
