Abstract
Purpose
Nowadays fossil fuel prices have increased; therefore, consumption of energy reduction has become a significant issue. Hence, this study aims to explore energy-efficient mechanical devices and their energy management.
Design/methodology/approach
This study focused on numerical analysis of various factors, including pressure drop, sensitivity, heat transfer and friction factor. This study compared the performance of two different arrangements of the heat exchanger: flat tube and staggered circular tube. This study also investigated the impact of varying coolant volume fractions.
Findings
This numerical analysis compares the geometric properties of flat and circular tube cross-sections while considering the flow of nanofluid inside and air outside. The current experimental investigation specifically examines the temperature-dependent characteristics (specific heat capacity, viscosity, density and thermal conductivity) of the stable ternary hybrid nanofluid mixture composed of Al2O3, CuO and TiO2.
Originality/value
While several researchers have conducted numerical investigations on laminar flow in circular tubes, only a few studies are available on flat tube heat exchangers that use nanofluids just for internal flow. Furthermore, there is no simultaneous study on internal and exterior flow. Therefore, more investigation is necessary to examine the combined three-dimensional examination of shapes and their thermal-hydraulic influence using hybrid nanofluids.

Abstract
Purpose
In this paper, free axisymmetric vibration analysis of a two-directional functionally graded porous thin annular plate resting on theĀ Winkler foundation is presented utilizing the classical plate theory (CPT). The mechanical properties are considered to be varying in the radial-thickness plane.
Design/methodology/approach
Based on the CPT, the governing differential equation of motion is derived. The highest-order derivative of displacement is approximated by Haar wavelets and successive lower-order derivatives are obtained by integration. The integration coefficients are calculated using boundary conditions. The fundamental frequency for clamped-clamped, clamped-simply supported, simply supported-clamped and simply supported-simply supported boundary conditions is obtained.
Findings
The effects of the porosity coefficient, the coefficient of radial variation, the exponent of power law, the foundation parameter, the aspect ratio and boundary conditions are investigated on fundamental frequency. A convergence study is conducted to validate the present analysis. The accuracy and reliability of the Haar wavelets are shown by comparing frequencies with those available in the literature. Three-dimensional mode shapes in theĀ fundamental mode for all four boundary conditions are presented.
Originality/value
Based on theĀ Haar wavelet method, aĀ free axisymmetric vibration model of aĀ porous thin annular plate is solved in which 2-D variation of mechanical properties is considered.

Abstract
A āstate-drivenā approach suggests that colonists use census categories to rule. However, a āsociety-drivenā approach suggests that this state-driven perspective confers too much power upon states. A third approach views census-taking and official categorization as a product of stateāsociety interaction that depends upon: (a) the population's lay categories, (b) information intellectuals' ability to take up and transform these lay categories, and (c) the balance of power between social and state actors. We evaluate the above positions by analyzing official records, key texts, travelogues, and statistical memoirs from three key periods in India: Indus Valley civilization through classical Gupta rule (ca. 3300 BCEā700 CE), the āmedievalā period (ca. 700ā1700 CE), and East India Company (EIC) rule (1757ā1857 CE), using historical narrative. We show that information gathering early in the first period was society driven; however, over time, a strong interactive pattern emerged. Scribes (information intellectuals) increased their social status and power (thus, shifting the balance of power) by drawing on caste categories (lay categories) and incorporating them into official information gathering. This intensification of interactive information gathering allowed the Mughals, the EIC, and finally British direct rule officials to collect large quantities of information. Our evidence thus suggests that the intensification of stateāsociety interactions over time laid the groundwork for the success of the direct rule British censuses. It also suggests that any transformative effect of these censuses lay in this interactive pattern, not in the strength of the British colonial state.

Abstract
The purpose of the present study is to synthesize and organize the existing literature on sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) challenges and potential solutions to overcome these challenges. The four-step research method has been used to collect and analyze pertinent literature, define the unit of analysis, select the classification context, collect publications, and evaluate the material. The study found 10 prevalent SSCM challenges and 18 potential solutions to overcome these challenges. By implementing these solutions, organizations can implement SSCM practices and contribute to achieving various Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study significantly contributes to stakeholder theory, triple bottom-line theory, and resource-based view theory. The current study provides insights to managers working in supply chain management on SSCM implementation. Furthermore, the study also has practical implications for academicians and policymakers. This study is the first of its kind to amalgamate the SSCM challenges and solutions to overcome these challenges in a single framework by reviewing the literature.

Industry 4.0 (I4.0), the Fourth Industrial Revolution, integrates Big Data analytics, blockchain, cloud computing, digitisation and the Internet of Things to enhance supply chain (SC) activities and achieve sustainable growth through dynamic capabilities (DCs). This approach equips businesses with the necessary tools to optimise their operations and remain competitive in a dynamic business environment. The value proposition of a business encompasses a wide range of activities that add value at each stage. By leveraging DCs, a firm can achieve innovation, gain a competitive advantage and enhance its adaptability. Conversely, effective value chain management can amplify the influence of a firm's DCs on SC sustainability, by reducing waste, optimising resource utilisation and fostering strategic partnerships. This mutually beneficial connection takes the form of a dynamic interaction in which I4.0 technologies act as a catalyst to help organisations become more resilient, adaptive and responsive. The adoption of these technologies denotes a comprehensive approach to business shift, not merely technical integration. I4.0 has an impact on several organisational disciplines outside of manufacturing, from automation and efficiency advantages to quality enhancements. This chapter offers an extensive literature review to explore the level of SC sustainability that a business can achieve by combining its DCs and implementing strategic I4.0 adoption. The function of value chain management in moderating the effects of I4.0 and DCs on SC sustainability is also assessed. This study proposes a theoretical model that is grounded in the insights extracted from the literature review.

Abstract
Purpose: Health insurance and big data analytics have become increasingly intertwined in recent years, offering both opportunities and challenges for the industry. Thus, the primary aim is to utilize bibliometric analysis for comprehensive literature reviews in health insurance and big data analytics.
Design/methodology/approach: Scopus, chosen for its broad coverage, is utilized to extract 493 manuscripts meeting the inclusion criteria set (year and language) for a 25-year period. The tools employed in the study include VOSViewer and Biblioshiny package (R-programming).
Findings: An emerging trend has been observed in the field of health insurance and big data analytics for 25 years. The US has been observed as the topmost leading country to contribute to the subject under study. The Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan is at the top first rank of top leading institutions contributing 20 documents to the field of health insurance and big data analytics. Moreover, thematic mapping and word cloud is done to find the most relevant keywords in the study. Furthermore, co-occurrence analysis revealed the relationship of keywords for health insurance and big data mining.
Implications: The implications of the research extend beyond academic insights and have practical implications for stakeholders involved in healthcare policy, practice, and research.
Originality/Value/Implications: The novelty in the manuscript has been brought in by focusing on one of the many types of insurance, i.e., health. Moreover, big data analytics in relation to health insurance for such a range of time period serves as the original presentation of the work with regards to the matter under study.

Abstract
Purpose
The study aims to develop a hierarchical model for innovative work behaviour (IWB) that can capture the complex associations among the factors contributing to IWB within the information technology (IT) sector. To accomplish this, the authors rely on an abductive approach using a graph theoretic model, often called interpretive structural modelling (ISM).
Design/methodology/approach
After conducting an in-depth literature review and using the Delphi method, the authors identified 12 factors (11 enablers and IWB as an outcome). The authors collected data through the Delphi approach by sending the questionnaire to 11 experts from academia and the IT sector who have extensive experience and knowledge relevant to the study. The authors then used the ISM method to analyse the relationships among these factors and understand their driving forces.
Findings
Based on the ISM model and the Matrice d'Impacts CroisĆ©s Multiplication AppliquĆ©e Ć un Classement analysis, the authors have identified that inclusive leadership, proactive personality and knowledge creation ability are the variables with strong driving power but weak dependence. Conversely, IWB has strong dependence but weak driving power. These findings suggest that to foster IWB, the organisation should prioritise inclusive leadership, proactive personality and knowledge-creation ability to succeed in challenging times. The studyās findings contribute to the social exchange theory, which explains IWB in a dynamic setting. Additionally, the study helps address the significant concerns that most IT companies face during times of crisis.
Practical implications
The study provides valuable guidance for managers and policymakers who are grappling with the challenges of improving IWB in the IT sector. This study is particularly relevant as the industry is currently navigating an economic recession and facing intense competition from other tech companies launching new products and services.
Originality/value
This research holds great significance for top executives, line managers and policymakers in the IT industry. It sheds light on the relevance and importance of various factors facilitating millennials' IWB.

In the framework of Industry 4.0, the study seeks to clarify the intricate connection between modern digitalization and sustainability and the ways in which these developing technologies support sustainable practices in the societal, environmental and economic spheres. Utilizing a conceptual framework, this study integrates insights from existing literature and provides a structured investigation to explore the impact of Industry 4.0 technologies, including smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, the internet of things (IoT) and blockchain, on sustainability. The research reveals that the integration of environmental, social, economic and human aspects of sustainability. The study emphasizes how these elements support Industry 4.0 by encouraging moral and sustainable business practices. The insights derived from this research offer practical implications for policymakers, industry leaders and researchers. Abstract
The agricultural sector in any country plays an important contributor to national output along with its high absorbability of the working population. In the agricultural sector, paddy production holds a major share in the total output in countries like India. The growth and stability of the paddy production at the national level depends on the same factors at the sub-national levels such as the provincial and district levels. The present study focuses first on the stability analysis of the quantity of food production and irrigation facilities in the top 10 rice-producing states in India and then on the stability of yield rates in three varieties of paddy production, Aus, Aman, and Boro, and irrigation facilities across the blocks in the Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal, as a special reference. The analyses involves the evaluation of the growth and stability using Coppockās method and trend analysis. It is found that Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh have a positive significant correlation between irrigation facilities and paddy production. From this study, it is also found that the correlation between changes in the yield rate of Aus, Aman, and Boro production and changes in irrigation is positive and significantly related to each other for Garbeta 1, Garbeta 3, Keshiary, Kharagpur 2, Chandrakona 1, and Chandrakona 2 blocks in Paschim Medinipur district under West Bengal. Therefore, the results recommend that the government should focus on irrigation facilities in those areas where the benefits of irrigation facilities are fully realized.

Abstract
Purpose
India liberalized its economy in 1991, which resulted in intense global competition, quality-conscious and demanding customers. Additionally, significant technological advancements lead to enhancements in products and processes. These forced Indian organizations to adopt innovative business strategies in the past 30 years. Meanwhile, the Lean Six Sigma methodology has significantly grown with vast applicability during the past 30 years. Thus, the purpose of this study is to develop the learning on Lean Six Sigma methodology in the Indian context through investigation of literature.
Design/methodology/approach
A three-stage systematic literature review approach was adopted to investigate the literature during the present study. In total, 187 articles published in 62 journals/conference proceedings from 2005 to 2022 (18 years) were shortlisted. The first part of the article summarizes the significant milestones towards the quality journey in the Indian context, along with the evolution of the Lean Six Sigma methodology. The second part examines the shortlisted papers on Lean Six Sigma frameworks, their applicability in industrial sectors, performance metrics, outcomes realized, publication trends, authorship patterns and leading researchers from the Indian perspective.
Findings
Lean Six Sigma has emerged as a highly acclaimed and structured business improvement strategy worldwide. The Indian economy has seen remarkable growth in the past decade and is one of the fastest-growing economies in the 21st century. Lean Six Sigma implementation in India has significantly increased from 2014 onward. The study revealed that researchers have proposed several different frameworks for Lean Six Sigma implementation, the majority of which are conceptual. Furthermore, the balanced applicability of Lean Six Sigma in manufacturing and service sectors was observed with the highest implementation in the health-care sector. Additionally, the widely adopted tools, techniques along with performance metrics exploring case studies were reported along with a summary of eminent and leading researchers in the Indian context.
Research limitations/implications
This study is confined to reviewed papers as per the research criteria with a significant focus on the Indian context and might have missed some papers due to the adopted papers selection strategy.
Originality/value
The present study is one of the initial attempts to investigate the literature published on Lean Six Sigma in the Indian context, including perspective on the Indian quality movement. Therefore, the present study will provide an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodology in the Indian context to graduating students in engineering and management and entry-level executives. The analysis and findings on Lean Six Sigma frameworks, research approach, publications details, etc., will be helpful to potential research scholars and academia. Additionally, analysis of case studies on Lean Six Sigma implementation by Indian industries will assist the managers and professionals in decision making.
