Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to investigate the mediating role of different types of intellectual capital (human, structural and relational) in the relationship between artificial intelligence-driven supply chain analytics capability (AI-SCAC) and various supply chain decision-making processes, specifically rational, bounded and tacit decision-making.
Design/methodology/approach
The study used a quantitative survey strategy to collect the data. A total of 320 valid questionnaires were received from manufacturing companies. The data were analysed using structural equation modeling with partial least squares (PLS-SEM) approach through SmartPLS software.
Findings
The results indicate that human and structural capital significantly mediate the relationship between AI-SCAC and rational and bounded decision-making processes. However, structural capital does not mediate the relationship between AI-SCAC and the tacit decision-making process. Moreover, relational capital does not show a significant mediating effect on all of the decision-making processes. Notably, structural capital has the strongest impact on rational and bounded decision-making, while human capital plays a critical role across all three decision-making processes, including tacit decision-making.
Originality/value
This study contributes to the literature by providing a nuanced understanding of the differentiated impact of intellectual capital components on various decision-making processes within the context of AI-SCAC. While previous studies have broadly acknowledged the role of intellectual capital in decision-making, this research provides more understanding of how specific types of intellectual capital interact with AI to influence distinct decision-making processes. Notably, the differential impact of structural capital on rational and bounded decision-making versus tacit decision-making highlights the need for organisations to adopt a more tailored approach in leveraging their intellectual capital.

Abstract
Purpose
This research endeavors to conduct a thorough and holistic analysis of the foundational elements that empower the cultivation of dynamic capabilities in micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The purpose of this study is to determine whether these capabilities have a noticeable impact on the sustainable performance of these enterprises. The study aims to support future research efforts in understanding this phenomenon by filling this knowledge gap and presenting a conceptual framework, thereby enhancing the scholarly discourse in this field.
Design/methodology/approach
The study consists of a systematic review of 126 articles meticulously chosen through a series of screening stages employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework. This examination is conducted within the organized framework of antecedents, decisions and outcomes-theory, context and methods (ADO-TCM), ensuring a structured and comprehensive analysis.
Findings
The study uncovers significant insights, identifying four key antecedents: resource base, organizational learning, managerial expertise and external environment management. These factors are instrumental in fostering dynamic capabilities within the enterprise, leading to sustainable entrepreneurial success and a competitive advantage over rivals.
Research limitations/implications
By comprehending the mechanisms by which dynamic capabilities are established within the enterprise, this study provides a valuable resource for entrepreneurs, professionals and managers, offering them practical insights to leverage.
Originality/value
This systematic literature review is the initial attempt to explain how dynamic capabilities can be used to enhance and accomplish sustainable performance in the context of MSMEs.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to investigate the corrosion resistance of two types of coatings – one is ceria sol coating and the other is ceria sol coating modified by ZnO nanoparticles on 7075 aluminum alloy in 3.5% NaCl solution.
Design/methodology/approach
Aluminum alloys were dipped into ceria sol and ceria sol modified by ZnO nanoparticles separately and removed after 10 min from the solutions and dried at 110°C for 30 min and heated at 500 °C for 30 min to form the coatings. The coatings have been characterized by using field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). The EIS tests were performed in a corrosive solution of 3.5% NaCl.
Findings
The results showed that the coating of ceria sol modified by ZnO nanoparticles has higher corrosion resistance than the ceria sol coating and the bare sample. Also, the best efficiency is related to aluminum sample immersion after 1 h in NaCl corrosive solution for coating modified by ZnO nanoparticles.
Originality/value
In this research, the modification of ceria sol coating by ZnO nanoparticles had an effect on improving the corrosion behavior of aluminum alloy. It is also understood that modification of coatings is an effective parameter on corrosion resistance.

Purpose
The field of medical technology is constantly evolving, leading to improvements in implantation techniques that offer innovative solutions for treating bone tissue defects. The purpose of this study is to investigate the integration of nano-silica into ceramic scaffolds to enhance the mechanical strength of Hydroxyapatite structures.
Design/methodology/approach
Using the design of experiment methodology, 13 distinct ceramic pastes, each optimized for specific mechanical characteristics, are formulated. Rheological testing is performed to ensure suitability for 3D printing, and the pastes are evaluated using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. The definitive screening design optimizer is used to determine an ideal material combination based on factors like extrudability, printability, strength and biocompatibility.
Findings
Scaffolds with the optimized HA/SiO2 composition are fabricated and tested for compression strength, achieving 7.8 MPa.
Originality/value
The research endeavors detailed within this study represent a notable advancement in the augmentation of ceramic scaffold properties tailored for bone tissue engineering applications, particularly focusing on their suitability for integration within load-bearing structures. A particular emphasis is placed on the enhancement of printability, thereby facilitating streamlined fabrication processes.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between the big five personality traits and personal financial planning (PFP) by focusing on the mediating role of mental accounting among Indian service sector employees.
Design/methodology/approach
The present study used a data set comprising 649 valid responses obtained through the structured questionnaire that was specifically disseminated to employees working in the Indian service sector. Further, the study used a quantitative approach, partial least squares structural equation modeling, to examine the hypothesized relationship.
Findings
The study’s outcomes reveal that mental accounting completely mediates the relationship between conscientiousness and PFP. In addition, extraversion and neuroticism traits have directly influenced the PFP, but in the presence of mental accounting, these traits have partially influenced the PFP. Furthermore, the results suggest that agreeableness directly affects PFP, whereas openness does not demonstrate any significant influence.
Originality/value
The existing literature within the field of PFP has primarily focused on exploring various variables associated with mental accounting, such as monetary and time costs, mental budgeting process and tax liabilities. However, it has overlooked the potential mediating effect of mental accounting. This study bridges this gap by investigating the impact of mental accounting as a mediator in the relationship between personality traits and PFP. Moreover, recently, the Indian economy has undergone major overhauls especially due to enactment of Goods and Services Tax and the profound impact of COVID-19, leading to changes in financial behavior of individuals. Therefore, this study endeavors to shed light on the emerging dynamics within the PFP domain, particularly within the context of the newly accustomed economic circumstances in India.
