Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to understand the research data management (RDM) services offered by academic libraries in South Asian and Southeast Asian countries. This study aims to evaluate the library and information science professionals’ required RDM skills and the challenges faced with providing RDM services.
Design/methodology/approach
The research methodology for this study used a survey method with purposive sampling. Data were collected through online structured questionnaires, which were used to examine the current state of RDM services offered in academic libraries in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Findings
South Asian and Southeast Asian region major types of RDM services provided were data repository, data management training, maintaining Web resources, data study and analysis, and promoting awareness of reusable data sources. Little attention was given to advisory services on data analysis/mining/visualization and supporting reproducibility and workflow transparency. The results indicated that most respondents agreed that metadata standards and data management planning skills were required for RDM services in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
Originality/value
This study is significant because it offers a comprehensive assessment of ongoing RDM services in academic libraries of South Asia and Southeast Asia. Most current literature focuses on best practices in developed nations. This study highlights the need for more competent and dedicated academic staff for effective RDM services. Library professionals can use this study to identify the gaps in RDM services and suggest formative measures to overcome such challenges.

Abstract
Purpose
The aim of this research is to conduct a systematic review of the literature on responsible artificial intelligence (RAI) practices within the domain of AI-based Credit Scoring (AICS) in banking. This review endeavours to map the existing landscape by identifying the work done so far, delineating the key themes and identifying the focal points of research within this field.
Design/methodology/approach
A database search of Scopus and Web of Science (last 20 years) resulted in 377 articles. This was further filtered for ABDC listing, and augmented with manual search. This resulted in a final list of 53 articles which was investigated further using the TCCM (Theory, Context, Characteristics and Methodology) review protocol.
Findings
The RAI landscape for credit scoring in the banking industry is multifaceted, encompassing ethical, operational and technological dimensions. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in banking is widespread, aiming to enhance efficiency and improve customer experience. Based on the findings of the systematic literature review we found that past studies on AICS have revolved around four major themes: (a) Advances in AI technology; (b) Ethical considerations and fairness; (c) Operational challenges and limitations; and (d) Future directions and potential applications. The authors further propose future directions in RAI in credit scoring.
Originality/value
Earlier studies have focused on AI in banking, credit scoring in isolation. This review attempts to provide deeper insights, facilitating the development of this key field.

Abstract
Purpose
The paper contends that the migrant workers experience a significant impact on their relations back in the place of origin. In this context, this paper aims to explore, in depth the migration of the labourers to Kashmir and the challenges experienced by them in terms of adaptation to an unfamiliar culture, health and well-being, stereotyping, limited availability of collective religious spaces and the impact of migration on their social relations with the kith and kin way back in the place of origin. This is a qualitative study based on 20 oral narratives with respondents who experienced significant socio-cultural challenges in the host societies. The evidence-based findings reveal that significant challenges are experienced by the migrant workers in Kashmir, with respect to the social and cultural aspects of their lives.
Design/methodology/approach
Keeping in view the nature and the objectives of the study, qualitative research approach was used to have an empathetic understanding of the experience of obstacles by the migrant workers pertaining to cultural adaptation, health and well-being, stereotyping and other hard to adjust problems. The study used a convenience sampling technique to recruit the respondents in the district Pulwama of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. In-depth face-to-face interviews were conducted with 12 daily wage migrant labourers who after migrating to the valley of Kashmir, experienced challenges with respect to the cultural adaptation, health and well-being, stereotyping and employment opportunities. The data was collected in the month of June and July, keeping in view the massive influx of migrant worker in the valley. While collecting data from the first ten participants, the study encountered data saturation, as the same set of responses were observed. Meanwhile, two more respondents were added to the study to ensure that no data is left out, but again the same set of response was recorded. This prompted the investigator to cease the data collection process. Moreover, the current study was conducted at a time and place convenient to participants, usually at the online e-service shops, where these daily wage migrant labourers come for money transfer and other related activities. Thematic analysis of data was practiced as per the technique of Braun and Clarke (2006), which involves becoming acquainted with the data, looking for themes, validating and refining those themes, identifying and labelling those themes and finally creating the report.
Findings
The evidence-based findings reveal that significant challenges are experienced by the migrant workers in Kashmir, with respect to the social and cultural aspects of their lives.

Purpose
This study investigates the impact of human capital (managers' capital, employees' capital) and orientation (market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation) for accelerating the digitalization process and improving the firm performance. It also studies the role of supply chains as both direct and indirect mediators of the correlation between digitalization and business performance.
Design/methodology/approach
This article aims to develop an empirical study using a random sampling technique and survey data collected from 368 managers and owners of different food enterprises in Vietnam. The study adopted a methodological approach quantitatively. Analysis of the relationships and confirmatory factors was performed using structural equation modeling (SEM), a technique to evaluate the proposed relationships.
Findings
In line with expectations, the findings emphasize the impact of human capital (managers' capital, employees' capital) and orientation (market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation) for accelerating the digitalization process and the role of supply chains as both direct and indirect mediators of the correlation between digitalization and improving the firm performance, in the context of emerging markets.
Originality/value
This is an important investigation, according to the authors' knowledge, regarding the role of developing human capital (managers' capital, employees' capital) and orientation (market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation) as a key strategy for accelerating the digitalization process and improving the firm performance. Further, the study's novelty reinforces the role of supply chains as both direct and indirect mediators of the correlation between digitalization and business performance in the Vietnamese food companies, where a market economy is emerging.
