Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to improve the positioning accuracy of a large-scale parallel pose alignment mechanism by calibration and error compensation.
Design/methodology/approach
The dynamic modelling of the parallel pose alignment mechanism is achieved using the Newton Euler method. Combined with a deformation compatibility analysis, the support force at the spherical hinge and the friction of the follow-up prismatic pair are calculated. The deformation of the moving platform in multi-pose space is analysed by the integral method, and a corresponding deformation model is established. Based on the calculated support force, friction and deformation, the deformation error is analysed. Combined with the calculated deformation error, kinematics calibration and positioning error compensation are carried out.
Findings
The simulation results show that the deviation of structural error identification is decreased from 3.03 × 10–1 mm to 6.8 × 10–2 mm. The experimental results show that the maximum pose errors after compensation are reduced from 2.77 mm to 6.5 × 10–1° to 3.9 × 10–1 mm and 3.7 × 10–1°, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
Originality/value
This method can be used in the field of aircraft assembly for the calibration and error compensation of a large-scale parallel pose alignment mechanism based on positioners.

Abstract
Purpose
Digital innovation has become an important driving force for organizational development. It is an important factor to improve the cooperative behavior of project performance, but the related research ignores the influence of digital innovation of construction projects on the cooperative behavior of all participants. Therefore, this study discusses the comprehensive influence of digital innovation on cooperative behavior in construction projects and provides references for formulating reasonable digital innovation strategies.
Design/methodology/approach
This study constructs a theoretical model according to the logical thread of “digital innovation → capital → cooperative behavior,” and discusses how construction project participants can improve their cooperative performance through digital innovation. And bring the institutional environment into the research framework as a regulating variable. Subsequently, this study uses the survey data of 276 construction employees from China to verify and analyze the theoretical model by structural equation model (SEM) and explains the action path and boundary conditions of “digital innovation-cooperation behavior.”
Findings
(1) Digital innovation has a negative impact on the cooperative behavior of all participants in the construction project; (2) As a complete intermediary variable, human capital helps to amplify the positive impact of digital innovation on cooperative behavior and (3) The institutional environment plays a positive regulatory role between digital innovation and human capital. The discussion of the results can guide the construction project organization and management personnel to formulate reasonable digital innovation strategies.
Originality/value
This study investigates the influence mechanism and boundary conditions of digital innovation on the cooperative behavior among the participants in construction projects through empirical research. These research results enrich the related literature of digital innovation in theory, expand the research scope of project cooperation and fill the gap in studying how digital innovation affects cooperation behavior from the perspective of construction projects. And by discussing the role of digital innovation, scholars can deepen their understanding of the antecedents of human capital. In addition, by examining the regulatory role of the institutional environment, the boundary conditions of digital innovation are discussed.

Purpose
ESG issues are gaining increasing attention from investors, but the environmental, social and governance (ESG) rating disagreement caused by different standards of rating agencies misleads investors' investment decisions. This can lead to an increased risk of stock price crashes, causing turbulence in the financial markets and reducing investors' confidence. The paper investigates whether ESG rating disagreement of the current period increases stock price crash risk and the mechanism to mitigate this impact.
Design/methodology/approach
With the sample of the listed companies of Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges from 2010 to 2022 this paper examines the impact of ESG rating disagreement itself on stock price crash risk. Moreover, this paper examines the mechanisms by analyzing the moderating effect of distraction of investors; digital economy and corporate intelligence maturity.
Findings
This paper finds that ESG rating disagreement itself would amplify the stock price crash risk. When exploring the moderating effect of institutional investors' distraction, digital economic development level and corporate intelligence, the paper found that they would mitigate the impact of ESG rating disagreement on stock price crash risk. The relationship between ESG rating disagreement and stock price crash risk is more pronounced in the context of heavily-polluted, state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and enterprises with star analysts.
Originality/value
Currently, few articles discuss ESG rating disagreement, especially the impact of current ESG rating disagreement on stock price crash risk. This paper focuses on this topic and provides strategies to mitigate the impact of current ESG rating divergence on stock price crash risk.

Abstract
Purpose
The implementation of smart maintenance (SM) has greatly benefited facility managers, construction project managers and other stakeholders within the built environment. Unfortunately, its actualization for stakeholders in the built environment in the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) era remains a challenge. To reduce the challenge, this study aims at conducting a bibliometric analysis to unearth the critical success factors supporting SM implementation. The future direction and practice of SM in the construction industry were also explored.
Design/methodology/approach
A bibliometric approach was adopted for reviewing articles extracted from the Scopus database. Keywords such as (“smart maintenance“) OR (“intelligent maintenance”) OR (“technological maintenance”) OR (“automated maintenance”) OR (“computerized maintenance”) were used to extract articles from the Scopus database. The studies were restricted between 2006 and 2021 to capture the 4IR era. The initial extracted papers were 1,048; however, 288 papers were selected and analysed using VOSviewer software.
Findings
The findings revealed that the critical success factors supporting the implementation of SM in the 4IR era are collaboration, digital twin design, energy management system and decentralized data management system. Regarding the future practice of SM in the 4IR era, it was also revealed that SM is possible to evolve into maintenance 4.0. This will support the autonomous maintenance of infrastructures in the built environment.
Research limitations/implications
The use of a single database contributed to the limitation of the findings from this study.
Practical implications
Despite the limitations, the findings of this study contributed to practice and research by providing stakeholders in the built environment with the direction of SM practice.
Originality/value
Stakeholders in the built environment have clamoured to implement SM in the 4IR era. This study provided the critical success factors for adopting SM, guaranteeing the 4IR era. It also provides the research trends and direction of SM practice.
