Abstract
Purpose
DeLone and McLean (D&M) has been amongst the most widely used models to assess the success elements of information systems (IS) since 1992. A decade later in 2003, D&M proposed a revised design that included several components which have been left out of original proposed model. This study aims to rely on the review of a number of papers casing the era 2011–2022 that satisfies a specific set of requirements to identify the research gaps in this area and to prepare a future research agenda.
Design/methodology/approach
This study is a systematic review: a technique that identifies and evaluates pertinent research. This gathers and analyses data from selected studies with objective to catalogue all empirical research studies, which responds to a certain study topic or hypothesis to meets predetermined inclusion criteria. Data collection method was divided into four stages, and selection details are determined through flow chart.
Findings
This research discovered D&M 2003 model use in many contexts, countries and cultures to better comprehend the topic and addresses its gaps, particularly with regard to public sector and its particularities. Publications have frequently emphasized the significance of this idea while studying public sector information systems by using associated variables-related items. Findings also include a summary of key components and dimensions used in reviewed studies in relation to each of the seven variables, and associated particularities in government sector over the world.
Originality/value
To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first ever effort in this developing country in discipline of Information Management to execute such kind of study to review D&M ISS model in detail at this stage to evaluate nonacademic public sector information systems around the world.

Purpose
The coating process increases the durability, quality and effectiveness of the web, is used in manufacturing of wallpapers, adhesive tapes, wrapping, protection of fabrics and metals, X-ray and photographic films, beautification, books and magazines, film foils, magnetic records, coated paper, etc.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper gives a detailed study of the Oldroyd-4 constant fluid rheology during blade coating technique to check the sensitivity of velocity slippage on blade surface and magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) on final coating thickness and other mechanical properties. Heat transfer effects are also considered with viscous dissipation. The governing expressions under Lubrication Approximation Theory (LAT) are shortened and non-dimensionalized. A numerical technique with root finding algorithm is employed to determine the velocity profile, pressure and pressure gradient, shear stress, coating thickness, blade load and temperature profile. Figures and tables are exploited to show and discuss the effects of Hartmann number, slip parameter, geometrical parameter and viscoelastic fluid parameters on the flow and mechanical quantities. Comparison is also presented with previous literature under specific conditions.
Findings
From a technical vantage point, blade load and pressure are significant results of research as they lead to varying coating thickness, which gives an efficient coating process and extends substrate life. Shear stress is directly proportional to the magnetic parameter and inversely proportional to velocity slippage on blade surface. Temperature curve increases with increment in magnetic parameter and Brinkman number, while decrease in temperature is detected from slip parameter.
Originality/value
In literature, this investigation fills a gap in the numerical prediction of slip and MHD effects on the thin layer coating of rheological viscoelastic fluid during blade coating phenomena.

Abstract
Purpose
Hybrid nanofluids have remarkable characteristics for improving the process of heat transfer. The findings suggest hybrid nanofluids are beneficial heat transfer fluids for industrial uses. Therefore, this article aims to investigate the Darcy–Forchheimer flow of Zn-TiO2/H2O hybrid nanofluids through a vertically porous shrinking cylinder.
Design/methodology/approach
The thermal transportation phenomenon of radiated hybrid nanomaterials is studied subject to linear thermal radiation and chemical species with the consequence of non-uniform heat source/sink influence. The controlling flow and energy equations in the form of governing hybrid nanofluids are developed and then converted into ODEs by operating appropriate resemblance variables. Using the impacts of controlling parameters, the behaviors of flow constraints are interpreted graphically.
Findings
The current study’s outcomes reveal that the water-based hybrid nanomaterials show a promising upsurge in heat transfer rate. Similarly, as the mass transfer rate grows, the drag coefficient and energy transfer rate boost, while due to curvature relations, it tends to diminish for drag friction. In an upper branch solution, the flow field is improved by greater porosity parameter values, whereas in a lower branch solution, it deteriorates. Furthermore, the velocity profile depicts the opposite trend for upper and lower branches due to a boost in the mixed convection parameter.
Originality/value
In light of already conducted studies, the relation of internal heat source varying regarding thermal and space in the rheology of hybrid TiO2-Zn/H2O nanofluid possesses intriguing utilization in energy production strategies due to the exhibition of extensive heat energy. The most typical examples of this phenomenon can be observed in nuclear and chemical-reactor power stations, solar power plants for heating and cooling systems, combustion analysis equipment and so on. The current study is devoted to predicting the effect of a varied heat source on the thermal energy characteristics of mixed convective hybrid TiO2-Zn/H2O nanofluid flow through the vertical cylinder.

Abstract
Purpose
Based on the principles of the social capital theory (SCT), this study aimed to generate hypotheses and evaluate a mediated moderated model that examined the impact of social capital on online brand community happiness (OBCH).
Design/methodology/approach
Using 215 online questionnaires from users of private online brand communities (OBCs) , researchers examined the hypothesized connections between variables. The SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 26.0 were applied to fulfill the purpose.
Findings
For the goodness of model fit, the authors have applied cut off criteria for fit indexes given by Hu and Bentler (1999) and model-fit measures indicators, i.e. CMIN/DF 1.397, CFI 0.958, SRMR 0.045, RMSEA 0.043 and PCLOSE 0.866, which meet the minimum acceptable criteria. Based on the results, social capital significantly affects psychological well-being (PWB), which, consequently, leads toward increased happiness among OBCs. Furthermore, membership duration moderates the relationship between PWB and OBCs.
Research limitations/implications
The authors have utilized a cross-sectional research design, and it limits the researcher’s ability to generalize the findings. These findings imply how social capital leverages PWB and OBCH. Moreover, the presence of membership duration helps to understand that members who spend more time in the community are happier in the OBCs.
Practical implications
In this age of social media, it provides valuable guidance to the administrators of private Facebook groups dedicated to specific brands, enhancing the definition and development of OBC operations and community interactions.
Originality/value
This research takes a broader look at social capital’s impact on happiness among private OBCs. The current research contributes to the existing body of work by emphasizing the role of PWB in generating happiness. The study is novel in examining the mediating moderating model of PWB and membership duration to explore deep insights for social media platforms.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to examine the mediating role of employees’ intrinsic motivation in the relationship between perceived ambidextrous organizational culture and innovative behaviour among information technology (IT) sector employees.
Design/methodology/approach
The study used a quantitative research methodology, using a questionnaire to gather data from a sample of 510 employees across a range of IT organizations and various roles in the Indian IT sector. Smart partial least squares structural equation modeling Version 3 was used for the analysis and interpretation of the study.
Findings
The findings revealed a significant positive relationship between perceived ambidextrous organizational culture and employees’ innovative behaviour in the Indian IT sector. Moreover, the study established that employees’ intrinsic motivation played a significant mediating role in this relationship.
Originality/value
This study stands out for its exploration into how employees’ intrinsic motivation mediates the relationship between ambidextrous organizational culture and innovative behaviour. It offers valuable insights for enhancing organizational creativity by understanding the critical role of intrinsic motivation.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to evaluate the activation of personality traits (PTs) as a means of explaining the emergence of intrapreneurial behaviour (IB) in engineers, particularly in response to goal-setting freedom (GSF) cues. Hence, this study proposes and empirically assesses the theoretical model underpinning trait activation theory (TAT), enriching its application by integrating goal-setting theory.
Design/methodology/approach
The proposed theoretical model was evaluated through a cross-sectional survey of 296 engineers in Pakistan’s textile industry. Testing of hypotheses using analysis of the data was done using partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM).
Findings
The obtained results revealed a positive relationship between the PTs of extraversion, conscientiousness, openness to experience and emotional stability with IB, while agreeableness was not found to have a significant relationship. The situational cue of GSF activated these traits, validating the theoretical model and demonstrating the contextual influence of autonomy on personality expression.
Practical implications
Granting engineers greater GSF can significantly enhance their IB. Organisations should foster environments that support autonomy to drive innovation, leveraging the intrinsic motivation and creativity of their engineers. This approach can lead to increased innovation, proactive problem-solving and competitive advantage.
Originality/value
This study contributes to the literature by extending TAT within the textile industry, illustrating how GSF acts as a situational moderator. It bridges gaps in understanding sector-specific dynamics and underscores the role of autonomy in activating PTs to foster innovation, proactiveness and risk-taking behaviours in organisational contexts.

Abstract
Purpose
This study, drawing on the attribution, attachment, and regret theories, examined the predictors of brand love. It also aimed to assess the mediating role of brand authenticity dimensions, i.e. brand continuity, brand credibility and brand naturalness, on the relationship between customer perception of hotel corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives and brand love. The moderating role of alternative attractiveness was also evaluated in relation to customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives and brand authenticity dimensions.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors surveyed customers from hotels in different cities in Pakistan. To test the theoretical framework, partial least square-based structural equation modeling was used.
Findings
The results confirm customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives as a predictor of brand love. The partial mediating role of brand naturalness and brand credibility was found between customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives and brand love, and no mediation of brand continuity was found. Alternative attractiveness negatively moderated the link between customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives, brand credibility and brand naturalness. However, alternative attractiveness did not moderate the relationship between customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives and brand continuity.
Practical implications
Hospitality practitioners can enhance brand love by strategically communicating CSR initiatives to customers, prioritizing brand credibility and brand naturalness and considering the role of attractive alternatives. This knowledge empowers practitioners to make informed decisions that can significantly impact their brand’s success.
Originality/value
This is the first study to explore the moderating role of alternative attractiveness on the relationship between customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives and brand authenticity dimensions. Equally, it is the first to investigate the mediating role of brand authenticity dimensions on the relationship between customer perception of hotel CSR initiatives and brand love.
