Abstract
Purpose
The study aims to examine the conceptualization of online abuse (OA) and identifies theories, countries of research, top-cited articles, methodologies, antecedents, mediators, outcomes and moderators of OA and future research opportunities. Two research questions are addressed. How have the past studies on OA progressed regarding theories, context, characteristics and methodology? What future research opportunities can be done in this area?
Design/methodology/approach
This study systematically reviews, synthesizes and integrates OA literature using the well-recommended preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) rules. The literature on OA was synthesized based on the Theory–Context–Characteristics–Methodologies (TCCM) framework given by Paul and Rosado-Serrano.

Abstract
Purpose
Digitalization, financial technologies and the internet have rapidly advanced the business ecosystem posing a disruptive threat to how operations are fundamentally performed. Global hospitality and tourism companies face this challenge and have been early adopters in this field. This study aims to examine the role of blockchain technology in strengthening the marketing mix (product, price, place and promotion) and the its related impacts on the tourism industry.
Design/methodology/approach
This research adopts a systematic literature review approach to synthesize and assess the literature published on blockchain in tourism and tends to build a conceptual framework that depicts the relationships between different constructs.
Findings
The results show a lot of interest in using blockchain technology due to numerous advantages to tourism industry. This innovative technology can change this sector radically; assist small economies in strengthening and transitioning to the level of developed economies; and assist tourism companies in eliminating corruption, establishing a secure network and promoting equality between small and large entities.
Originality/value
Through industry examples demonstrating real-life use cases such as startups operating on the application of blockchain in tourism, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, this paper is a first attempt to draw the impact of blockchain technology on product, price, place, promotion (4Ps) in tourism sector. The proposed nine relationships can facilitate the future researchers in advancing the state-of-art on how blockchain-based technologies can shape the customers experience through promoting confidentiality, co-creation and effective destination planning.

Abstract
Purpose
This study empirically assesses the effects of two key types of organizational and managerial capabilities—dynamic capabilities, and coordination and cohesion capabilities—on environmental performance, considering the moderating effect of family ownership. By applying the tenets of the natural resource-based view and the dynamic capabilities theory, this paper offers new insights into the topic.
Design/methodology/approach
The article presents empirical evidence from a survey of 1,019 firms operating in the Spanish tourism sector analyzed using multiple linear regression.
Findings
Overall, our results show that both dynamic capabilities and coordination and cohesion capabilities have direct and synergetic positive effects on environmental performance. In addition, the results confirm recent studies that report conflicting evidence on how family ownership affects environmental performance: family ownership is found to exert a distinct direct effect on environmental performance and on the development and application of the capabilities required to improve such performance.
Originality/value
This article sheds light on the conceptual frontiers between the different types of capabilities, as well as provides practical ways of measuring them. The article also brings evidence to bear on the debate concerning the direct and moderating effect that family ownership exerts on the relationship between both types of capabilities over environmental performance. The results of this analysis confirm the complexity of the family ownership effect on this aspect, and provide important insights for both business practitioners and academics.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper examines and empirically validates the artificial intelligence-enabled human resource management (AI-enabled HRM) dimensions and sustainable organisational performance (SOP) relationship. It also examines the mediation and moderation of employee engagement (EE) and fusion skills (FS).
Design/methodology/approach
The indirect effects of AI-enabled HRM dimensions on SOP were found using structural equation modelling (SEM), bootstrapping and FS’s moderation effect by AMOS 22.
Findings
Results showed that AI-enabled HRM dimensions indirectly affected SOP through EE as a full and partial mediator with no moderation effects of FS.
Originality/value
This is the first study to link AI-enabled HRM dimensions, EE and SOP and determine how FS moderates EE and SOP.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships between tourists’ motivations, perception of tourism impacts, place attachment (PA) and loyalty toward Jallianwala Bagh, a dark heritage site in Punjab, India.
Design/methodology/approach
A mixed-method approach comprising qualitative and quantitative methods was used. Semi-structured interviews and the Delphi method helped generate a 34-item survey instrument. A sample size of 869 respondents was obtained, split into two subsets for exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis.
Findings
Seven out of nine hypotheses were supported. Motivated tourists perceived higher positive tourism impacts but lower negative tourism impacts. Higher perceptions of positive tourism impacts increased both PA and loyalty to the destination. Surprisingly, the perception of negative tourism impacts did not significantly affect tourist loyalty, contrary to some previous research.
Practical implications
This study informs stakeholders about tourists’ cognitive and affective responses at a dark tourism site, aiding in the planning and development of sustainable tourism strategies.
Social implications
By understanding the tourists’ motivations and perceptions, stakeholders can manage tourism impacts more effectively, ensuring that tourists’ experiences align with sustainable practices.
Originality/value
This study enriches the understanding of the tourists’ complex interactions with dark heritage sites. It introduces a new angle by examining how motivations, PA and perceptions of tourism impacts influence tourist loyalty, especially in the context of dark tourism.

Abstract
In recent years, there has been an impressive increase in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medical treatment. Studies have explored many topics in the field of medical AI; however, few of them have systematically reviewed the overall area. This chapter retrieves 532 papers on medical AI from Social Sciences Citation Index core database of the Web of Science from 2013 to 2022. Two bibliometric and network analysis tools, including CiteSpace and HistCite, are used to identify the time-and-space knowledge map, research hotspots, emerging trends and key studies of medical AI research. A co-word network of medical AI is constructed to reveal that the field focuses more on the topic of machine learning. The analysis of the burst literature on medical AI indicates the research trends in the sub-sections such as law and ethics. Furthermore, the analysis of the co-citation uncovers the key studies in the field of medical AI. The results of bibliometric analysis illustrate the current situation, past evolution, and future trends in medical AI research, and identify hotspots and future research directions.

Abstract
Operating ethically when developing and marketing a product or service is critical. An essential aspect of this process is ensuring that a company's guiding principles and values are congruent with its overarching goals. Concerns span from the veracity of marketing to the preservation of individual privacy to the impact of design on the natural world and human civilization. It also entails taking precautions if a product or advertising campaign has unforeseen repercussions. In today's interdependent and globalized world, it is more important than ever for firms to employ morally acceptable design and marketing tactics to acquire consumer trust and generate beneficial social and environmental benefits. This chapter offers insights for future researchers by offering a conceptual framework in ethics in design and marketing, which can be empirically tested. This study highlights several factors like privacy, manipulation, representation and diversity, accessibility, sustainability, social responsibility, and truth in advertising as important factors leading to ethical concerns in design marketing.
