Abstract
Purpose
Drawing on the JD-R theory, this study investigates the effect of working from home on employee engagement and work-life balance considering work-life balance as the mediator in the working from home-employee engagement relationship and altruism as the moderator in the work-life balance-employee engagement relationship.
Design/methodology/approach
An online questionnaire using the snowball sampling approach was employed to collect data from 350 professional-level employees working from home due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling.
Findings
The findings indicate that work-life balance significantly affects employee engagement and confirm the moderating role of altruism in the relationship between work-life balance and employee engagement. However, work-life balance does not mediate the relationship between working from home and employee engagement.
Originality/value
These findings advanced JD-R theory in human resource management by focusing on a more humanistic and compassionate approach towards managing employees, particularly in the remote working context during turbulent times.

This study aims to identify the updated areas in family business innovation (FBI) and propose a future research agenda for scholars in the domain.
Design/methodology/approach
Using VOSviewer and Bibliometrix-R, this study conducts a bibliometric analysis on 699 Scopus-indexed journal articles/reviews to analyse FBI’s performance and intellectual structure.
Findings
This study provides up-to-date assessment through performance analysis. Through the co-citation, co-word and thematic evolution analysis, this study unpacks FBI themes/topics to propose possible future avenues.
Practical implications
The findings provide insights into resilient innovation-driven family businesses to enlighten the next generation of family business leaders with essential innovation knowledge for sustainable growth.
Originality/value
This study complements past FBI reviews by offering renewed perspectives that future research can focus on, in turn, enhancing literature on contemporary, relevant topical issues in the FBI post-COVID-19 pandemic.

A study of full-time employees and their leaders in China found that visionary leadership behavior (VLB) is positively related to employee vision commitment and also that vision commitment mediates the effect of VLB on employee performance. Meanwhile, organization resource support moderates the effect of vision commitment on employee performance and the indirect effect of VLB on employee performance via vision commitment, such that the two effects are stronger when organization resource support is high.

Abstract
Purpose
While travelling, tourists like to use mobile technology to share their travel experiences. This study aims to understand how the social value gained by tourists from sharing a travel experience with mobile technology affects their satisfaction with the travel experience through onsite mobile sharing behaviour.
Design/methodology/approach
A second-order hierarchical model is constructed to examine the moderated mediating role of onsite mobile sharing behaviour in improving tourists’ travel satisfaction. Through systematic sampling, 304 responses were collected at ten attraction points in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, China.
Findings
The results show that, compared with self-centred values (self-presentation and self-identification), other-centred values (building social connection and reciprocity) contribute more to forming social values of sharing. In addition, onsite mobile sharing behaviour partially mediates and moderates the effect of social values on travel satisfaction.
Originality/value
This study applies the social capital theory to identify the value gained by sharing travel experiences and empirically evaluates the impact of these values on the overall value of sharing travel experiences. This study also contributes to tourism research by examining the moderated mediating role of onsite mobile sharing behaviour in improving travel satisfaction. This study helps destination marketing to make strategies to motivate tourists to use mobile technology to share their travel experiences while travelling.

Abstract
Purpose
This article aims to explore the concept of green campus (GC) being implemented in Pakistan’s universities in order to attain green intellectual capital (GIC).
Design/methodology/approach
Primary data were collected from the 20 public sector universities in the Punjab province, Pakistan. Data analysis was conducted by using SPSS and MPLUS software.
Findings
Results confirm that green practices help universities to attain GIC. Further, the results also confirm the mediating role of green knowledge sharing (GKS) and green innovation (GI).
Research limitations/implications
The data were gathered from public sector universities in Pakistan. Hence, the findings of the present study may not be generalized to the private universities, other sectors or countries.
Practical implications
This study provides insights regarding the implementation of GC paradigm from technological perspective. This can enhance the information exchange among sustainability practitioners in order to introduce innovative solutions for addressing sustainability challenges.
Social implications
This study has developed a transdisciplinary policy framework that provides guidelines for higher education institutions in Pakistan to attain GI and IC.
Originality/value
The originality lies in framing GC as a generator of GIC while also establishing a strong link between IC, economy and the environment by demonstrating how environmental sustainability initiatives influence economic gains through enhanced reputation, cost reduction and stakeholder engagement. This study has developed a theoretical framework based on resource-based theory, which supports the notion that GCs will lead to GIC by developing GKS and GI.
