Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to extract the universal results or conclusions with high value from the existing research conclusions, further compares the research results of knowledge search and its various dimensions on the impact of enterprise innovation performance in the existing research and supports the decision of which knowledge search to give priority to in the context of limited resources.
Design/methodology/approach
Based on the resource-based theory and resource dependence theory, this paper uses meta meta-analysis method to quantitatively synthesize multiple representative literature on the relationship between knowledge search and enterprise innovation performance, build a theoretical model of knowledge search and its dimensions and enterprise innovation performance and explore the internal mechanism of enterprises to improve innovation performance through knowledge search.
Findings
The results show the following: knowledge search behavior promotes the innovation performance of Chinese enterprises; expanding the width of knowledge search and deepening the depth of knowledge search have a positive impact on improving the innovation performance of Chinese enterprises; enterprise scale, industry field, development stage and other factors regulate the contribution of knowledge search width and depth to improving the innovation performance of Chinese enterprises.
Originality/value
This paper effectively clarifies the regulatory role of each dimension of knowledge search, makes reasonable explanations for different conclusions that are ambiguous or conflicting and answers questions like how knowledge search is related to enterprise innovation performance and what kind of knowledge search is more effective so as to provide some useful practical guidance and inspiration for enterprises to carry out innovation activities.

Abstract
Sustainability, as we all know has become such a crucial global matter that even the United Nations has not failed to take cognizance of it and has addressed the same through the formation of ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. As per an article on Global Reporting Initiative's Medium platform, it has been estimated that ‘the supply chain activities of a firm account for around 90% of its sustainability impressions’ (according to Sustainalytics' future-proofing supply chains study). Taking this view forward, sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is one such area which has acquired substantial significance in the recent times. Studies in the area of SSCM has found an increasing attention especially in the past two decades. This paper strives to review the recent literature in SSCM to identify the recent trends in this area of research. The paper attempts to identify the contemporary and upcoming research topics and also the research gaps in the field of SSCM which could act as a potential source of further research for the academia.

Abstract
Purpose
This study relied on the job demands and resource model to understand employees’ turnover intentions. Recent studies have consistently lent support for the significant association between role ambiguity and turnover intentions; however, only a handful of studies focused on examining the potential mediators in this association. The authors argued that role ambiguity positively influences turnover intentions through affective mechanisms: job involvement and satisfaction.
Design/methodology/approach
To test the model, a large sample of working adults participated (N = 505).
Findings
Structural equation modeling results showed that role ambiguity, job involvement and job satisfaction were significantly associated with turnover intentions. Moreover, a serial mediation was found among the variables: employees with low levels of role ambiguity tended to report higher job involvement, which further increased their satisfaction with the job and subsequently decreased their turnover intentions.
Research limitations/implications
The cross-sectional design is a limitation.
Practical implications
Practical suggestions regarding how organizations can reduce employee turnover are discussed.
Originality/value
The findings provide support for theory-driven interventions to address developing the intention to stay at work among working adults.

Abstract
Purpose
This research analyses the linkages between green manufacturing (GM) and manufacturing performance (MP) dimensions comprising sustainable performance (SuP) (economic [EcP], social [SP] and environmental [ENP]) and operational performance (OP) with supply chain alertness (SCAL) and supply chain preparedness (SCP) as mediators.
Design/methodology/approach
This deductive-quantitative approach embraces the explanatory design. It analyses 285 datasets gathered from structured questionnaires via structural equation modelling.
Findings
The study found that GM, SCAL and SCP significantly improve manufacturing firms' operational and sustainable performance. Also, SCP and SCAL partially mediate the GM-MP correlations among manufacturing firms in Ghana, a developing economy.
Research limitations/implications
The paper is limited to the quantitative methodologies given its relevance in examining causal relationships among constructs. Also, it was conducted within the scope of manufacturing firms in developing economies, specifically Ghana. Despite the limitations, the study's outcomes imply that manufacturing firms can perform well in sustainable and operational aspects if they prioritise green manufacturing practices, supply chain preparedness and alertness.
Practical implications
This research offers new insights into the significant contributions of adopting the GM practice to MP (SuP and OP). Also, it advocates for more investments into GM, SCAL and SCP to ensure sustainability in today's highly disruptive manufacturing environment, leading to superior manufacturing performance. The study provides relevant directions for policymakers, industry players and supply chain practitioners in adopting GM throughout their production processes to attain manufacturing performance targets.
Social implications
By advocating for sustainable manufacturing practices like green, the study contributes to a cleaner environment, resource conservation, and ultimately, a more sustainable future. The shift towards eco-friendly production methods can influence public attitudes towards manufacturing and promote environmentally conscious practices.
Originality/value
The study's originality lies in examining the mediation roles of SCAL and SCP on the GM-MP nexus of manufacturing industries in a developing economy, where environmental sustainability and disruptions along supply chains are becoming major concerns.
