Abstract
One of today’s major problems in the field of e‐learning is that the creation of high‐quality content is still rather time consuming and expensive. In the past, many efforts have been made to produce educational content on the fly, but the results were mainly static blocks of recorded lecture lacking sophisticated navigation facilities. Facing this challenge the authors developed the concept of hyper‐presentations. During the live presentation content‐ and time‐based metadata is captured and stored in a lightweight and player‐independent format. With this metadata powerful navigation facilities like real time navigation and full text search in audio or video data can be generated automatically. This improves flexibility and interoperability of technical solutions, which are both key factors in the emerging rapid e‐learning market.

Abstract
Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to examine neural document clustering techniques, e.g. self‐organising map (SOM) or growing neural gas (GNG), usually assume that textual information is stationary on the quantity.
Design/methodology/approach
The authors propose a novel dynamic adaptive self‐organising hybrid (DASH) model, which adapts to time‐event news collections not only to the neural topological structure but also to its main parameters in a non‐stationary environment. Based on features of a time‐event news collection in a non‐stationary environment, they review the main current neural clustering models. The main deficiency is a need of pre‐definition of the thresholds of unit‐growing and unit‐pruning. Thus, the dynamic adaptive self‐organising hybrid (DASH) model is designed for a non‐stationary environment.
Findings
The paper compares DASH with SOM and GNG based on an artificial jumping corner data set and a real world Reuters news collection. According to the experimental results, the DASH model is more effective than SOM and GNG for time‐event document clustering.
Practical implications
A real world environment is dynamic. This paper provides an approach to present news clustering in a non‐stationary environment.
Originality/value
Text clustering in a non‐stationary environment is a novel concept. The paper demonstrates DASH, which can deal with a real world data set in a non‐stationary environment.

Abstract
Purpose
There are many investigations in design methodologies, but there are also divergences and convergences as there are so many points of view. This study aims to evaluate to corroborate and deepen other researchers’ findings, dissipate divergences and provide directing to future work on the subject from a methodological and convergent perspective.
Design/methodology/approach
This study analyzes the previous reviews (about 15 reviews) and based on the consensus and the classifications provided by these authors, a significant sample of research is analyzed in the design for additive manufacturing (DFAM) theme (approximately 80 articles until June of 2017 and approximately 280–300 articles until February of 2019) through descriptive statistics, to corroborate and deepen the findings of other researchers.
Findings
Throughout this work, this paper found statistics indicating that the main areas studied are: multiple objective optimizations, execution of the design, general DFAM and DFAM for functional performance. Among the main conclusions: there is a lack of innovation in the products developed with the methodologies, there is a lack of exhaustivity in the methodologies, there are few efforts to include environmental aspects in the methodologies, many of the methods include economic and cost evaluation, but are not very explicit and broad (sustainability evaluation), it is necessary to consider a greater variety of functions, among other conclusions
Originality/value
The novelty in this study is the methodology. It is very objective, comprehensive and quantitative. The starting point is not the case studies nor the qualitative criteria, but the figures and quantities of methodologies. The main contribution of this review article is to guide future work on the subject from a methodological and convergent perspective and this article provides a broad database with articles containing information on many issues to make decisions: design methodology; optimization; processes, selection of parts and materials; cost and product management; mechanical, electrical and thermal properties; health and environmental impact, etc.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims on a methodology to overcome the fact that conventional service life testing of porous journal bearings (PJBs) requires long test times and is not economical.
Design/methodology/approach
This paper sketches out a pathway to strongly accelerated life tests for PJBs enabled by high load and elevated temperature, which saves months or even years of testing. The testing time is not only reduced to a few weeks, but the results are also statistically secured via a multiple test rig construction of a custom-made tribometer.
Findings
An exemplary bearing-lubricant combination is tested in the mixed lubrication regime, where the coefficient of friction is monitored during the test.
Originality/value
A Weibull curve is fitted to the experimental results to show the survival probability of the combination over time.

Abstract
Purpose
The article aims at examining the ethical limits and risks of servant leadership. During the Second World War, the German army officer Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg is a loyal servant to his nation and homeland. But when he learns about the Nazis’ mass murders and crimes, he begins to have doubts about whom he should serve. Being confronted with numerous moral dilemmas, he finally decides to join a resistance group. Of course, Stauffenberg's situation as colonel and leader was an extreme case. Time and again, however, managers and leaders are faced with similar dilemmas. Indeed, the current COVID-19-crisis shows that even today’s leaders are repeatedly faced with almost insoluble dilemmas. The recent literature about ethics and leadership suggests a philosophy which is almost portrayed as a panacea to any ethical issues: servant leadership (SL). This study, however, questions the commonly held view that SL is always ethical. The purpose of our historical case study is twofold. First, this study explores the ethical challenges Stauffenberg (and other officers) faced and how they dealt with them. Second, this study elaborates on what responses (if any) SL would provide to these challenges.
Design/methodology/approach
The applied method is a historical case study, in which the authors draw on a plethora of secondary literature, including books, reports, and articles.
Findings
By analyzing the historical case of “Operation Valkyrie,” this study elaborated and identified risks and limitations of SL and pointed out ways to address these risks. In particular, SL poses risks in the case of a too narrow understanding of the term “service.”
Originality/value
While other leadership styles, e.g. transformational leadership or charismatic leadership, have been extensively studied with regard to ethical risks, in the case of SL possible risks and limitations are still largely unexplored.
