Abstract
Purpose
As innovative household products, social home robots have a significant impact on the interactive consumer experience. However, prior research on consumer intentions to use such robots has rarely considered the configuration perspective. The present study examines how consumers balance the key benefits and risks created by these robots and explores how key influential factors jointly influence usage intention from a configuration perspective.
Design/methodology/approach
We adopted a hybrid research design. In Study 1, a thematic analysis was conducted to derive a conceptual framework reflecting the interplay of key factors influencing usage intention. In Study 2, a fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) was applied to reveal how these factors jointly shape usage intention.
Findings
Equifinal configurations of antecedent conditions (i.e. emotional and instrumental support beliefs, concerns about informational and relational privacy risks, self-construal and anthropomorphic design) led to usage intention. Additionally, four distinct benefit-risk trade-off patterns emerged across individuals.
Research limitations/implications
This study highlights the need to examine robot adoption in interactive marketing, particularly in the service domain. It has implications in the context of commercializing social home robots, emphasizing the potential of leveraging social home robots to enhance interactive consumer experiences and foster close connections with consumers.
Originality/value
We developed a neoconfigurational model to obtain a comprehensive understanding of social home robot acceptance in domestic settings, highlighting its implications for consumer–robot interactions and advancing research in interactive marketing.

Abstract
Purpose
This paper aims to examine the impact of visualization tools on the financing ratio of crowdfunding platforms projects of social enterprises, and to sort out personal quality signals and project quality signals based on signaling theory. This paper also divides the emotions and feelings brought by the visualization tools into persuasive and informative styles, showing the functions of different tools on the crowdfunding performance of social ventures.
Design/methodology/approach
Linear regression and binary regression are applied to analyze data on social entrepreneurship projects from two internationally authoritative crowdfunding platforms, Kickstarter and Indiegogo.
Findings
In social entrepreneurship projects, the number of emotionally persuasive images has a significant positive impact on the financing ratio. Among them, the financing target has a negative regulatory effect.
Research limitations/implications
The study has not fully explored how different visual aspects (such as color and composition) impact investor perceptions. Future research should address these variables for a more accurate understanding of how visualization affects financing performance.
Practical implications
This paper summarizes the factors that affect the crowdfunding ratio and provides a visualization tool from an innovative perspective. The application provides reference value for all types of crowdfunding projects on the crowdfunding platforms.
Social implications
Social entrepreneurs should use the crowdfunding model to raise funds and deepen their understanding of crowdfunding investors, so that more people can participate in social entrepreneurship and thereby generate greater social value.
Originality/value
This paper provides a new perspective for the classification of visualization tools. This paper divides the emotions and feelings brought by the visualization tools to the information recipients, and classifies them into persuasive and informative styles, showing the functions of different tools.

Abstract
Purpose
Data transformation has prompted enterprises to rethink their strategic development. Scholars have frequently acknowledged the vast potential value of supply chain data and realised that simply owning data resources cannot guarantee excellent innovation performance (IP). Therefore, this study focussed on the mediating and moderating issues between data-driven supply chain orientation (DDSCO) and IP. More specifically, the purpose was to explore (1) whether DDSCO promotes enterprise innovation through dynamic and improvisational capabilities and (2) how information complexity (INC) plays a moderating role between capabilities and performance.
Design/methodology/approach
An empirical study was performed using the results of a questionnaire survey, and a literature review was used to build the premises of this study. A sample was conducted on 296 Chinese enterprises, and the data collected were used to test the hypothesis by successive regression.
Findings
This research has implications for the theoretical development of DDSCO, as well as the dynamic capabilities (DC) and improvisation capabilities (IC) in innovation strategic literature. The empirical results show that DDSCO has a direct, positive impact on both DC and IC, which thus positively impact IP. Meanwhile, IC has a negative moderating effect on the path joining DC and IP. Conversely, IC has a positive moderating effect on the path joining IC and IP.
Research limitations/implications
Although this study has limitations, it also creates opportunities for future research. The survey comes from different industries, so the possibility of unique influences within industries cannot be ruled out. Second, the authors' survey is based on cross-sectional data, which allow for more comprehensive data verification in the future. Third, this study also provides opportunities for future research, because it proves that DC and IC, as partial mediators of DDSCO and IP, can mine other paths of the data-driven supply chain in IP. For example, the perspective of the relationship between supply chain members, knowledge perspective, etc.
Practical implications
The research findings offer a novel perspective for enterprise managers. First, enterprises can leverage supply chain data to gain competitive advantages in innovation. Second, it is imperative for enterprises to acknowledge the significance of developing dynamic and IC. This also requires enterprises to acknowledge innovations in DDSCO necessitate a focus on dynamic and IC. Third, it is recommended that managers take into account both sides of IC and encourage enterprises to prioritise the utilisation of IC.
Originality/value
Empirical research results revealed how DDSCO improves IP and is an extension of digital transformation in the supply chain field, providing new opportunities and challenges for enterprise innovation. It can also expand the enterprise's understanding of DDSCO. Second, based on resource-based theory, it is possible to develop and test theoretical arguments regarding the importance of dynamic and IC as intermediaries in the DDSCO-IP. Third, the authors conducted simulations of highly dynamic data environments to develop and test theoretical arguments about the importance of IC as a moderator of capabilities-performance relationships.

Purpose
The purpose of this paper is to combine triboelectric nanogeneration technology with ball bearing structure to achieve energy collection and fault monitoring.
Design/methodology/approach
In this paper, according to the rotation mode of ball bearings, the freestanding mode of triboelectric nanogeneration is selected to design and manufacture a novel triboelectric nanogeneration device Rolling Ball Triboelectric Nanogenerator (RB-TENG) which combines rotary energy collection with ball bearing fault self-sensing.
Findings
The 10,000s continuous operation experiment of the RB-TENG is carried out to verify its robustness. The accurate feedback relationship between the RB-TENG and rotation velocity can be demonstrated by the fitting comparison between the theoretical and experimental electrical signal periods at a certain time. By comparing the output electrical signals of the normal RB-TENG and the rotor spalling RB-TENG and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) balls with different degrees of wear at 500 r/min, it can be concluded that the RB-TENG has an ideal monitoring effect on the radial clearance distance of bearings. The spalling fault test of the RB-TENG stator inner ring and rotor outer ring is carried out.
Originality/value
Through coupling experiments of rotor spalling fault of the RB-TENG and PTFE balls fault with different degrees of wear, it can be seen that when rotor spalling fault occurs, balls wear has a greater impact on the normal operation of the RB-TENG, and it is easier to identify. The fault self-sensing ability of the RB-TENG can be obtained, which is expected to provide an effective scheme for monitoring the radial wear clearance distance of ball bearings.
