Philips has launched an eight-in-one fax machine, complete with an integrated DECT handset, detachable scanner and e-mail, providing a total office solution in a single unit. The Magic2DECT boasts a very small footprint yet provides scanner, fax, DECT phone, answerphone, photocopier, e-mail and (limited) Internet access. The detachable scanner simply pulls, allowing the scanning of documents, photographs or books that might not feed easily into the machine. The machine automatically prints out any e-mail messages that are received, rather like conventional fax and similarly downloads and prints out Web pages. See http://www.pcc.philips.com
