Gauging mental fatigue in safety critical work
A survey of over 1,000 companies and 50 top business schools conducted this year by The MBA Career Guide/topmba.com shows that international job opportunities available to MBAs have been growing at over 15 per cent pa since 1994. MBA salaries have risen by 25 per cent since 1997; consulting pays the top salaries to MBA graduates, averaging $87,000. MBAs joining banks and industrial companies are averaging salaries of $79,000 and $77,000 respectively. Compared to 1994, there are three times as many jobs available for MBAs in consulting and banking, and twice as many in industry and technology. A total 94 per cent of MBA students have one to four job offers by the end of their course.
