In the past it has been necessary to connect data- loggers to a computer to either programme or download data. However, now Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd can offer the new portable TR data-logger printer and programmer where it is possible to carry out both functions, anywhere at any time without a computer (Plate 5). This enables all TR data-loggers to be fully utilised in difficult environments where there is no mains power or in vehicles, such as delivery lorries, where the temperature or humidity is critical or where no computer is available.

The new TR data-logger printer and programmer
The hand held TR data-logger printer and programmer allows the user to print data in a graphical or tabular format and programme the TR data-loggers, i.e. start time, ID and high/low alarm values. The unit is truly portable as it is powered by four AAA batteries. An optional 230/6 V power adaptor is also available.
The TR data-logger printer and programmer incorporates five easy-to-use push-buttons allowing the user to navigate through the various menu options displayed on the clear LCD display. The TR printer and programmer is priced at £165 excluding VAT and carriage.
