Falcon-Vision manufactures industrial machine vision systems and products which are used extensively in the automotive, automotive component and glass industries for 100 per cent inspection of product as part of the production and quality control process. Headquartered in Budapest, Hungary, Falcon-Vision has a wholly owned sales and service subsidiary, Falcon-Vision GmbH, in Mannheim, Germany. Falcon-Vision GmbH is headed by dipl-ing Thomas Simon, an experienced industrial sales and marketing executive.

The establishment of the German operation is part of a major expansion phase for Falcon-Vision, who received a major investment of 2.2 million Euro from the Baring Central European Fund (BCEF) to develop its international sales and sales support activities in key European markets.

Zoltán Horváth, Falcon-Vision's CEO, commented: "We are delighted to open this office in Germany as the first phase of our expansion. We have already supplied systems to companies to provide 100 per cent inspection and quality control of products they sell extensively throughout Germany, and now we are in a strong position to supply equipment to German manufacturers' themselves. With BCEIF's backing, we have the resources to become one of the leading European players in the rapidly growing market for vision-based inspection systems."
