Level detection

An electronic level reading 360° (90° x 4) is EC-compatible, for plumb and level or anywhere in between, right round the circle, is self-contained in black plastics case with ground aluminium top and bottom (see Plate 1).

Alternate zero-reference, reading hold, simple calibration not needing any special fixtures, display remaining upright at any angle are just some of a number of features, unique in combination with the following characteristic properties.

Plate 1 Model PRO-3600 digital protractor

0.05° accuracy CW & CCW at level ±10° and 0.10° CW & CCW at plumb ±10° with a repeatability of ±3min are salient features. Between 10° and 80° accuracy is maintained at ±0.2° and repeatability remains, at ±3min of arc.

The serial port for the RS232 output has an extra pin so that an external 9v power input can be used in place of the standard 9v battery. The signal output transmits serial data (9,600 baud, one stop bit, no parity) comprising a total SPC (RS-2320) output capability.

For difficult-to-reach locations there are models with a magnetic base so as to facilitate adherence to ferrous surfaces, pipes, shafts etc.
