Euresys introduces, EasyFind, a state-of-the- art geometric template matcher based on a feature point technology. This advanced library for alignment is included in the new eVision 6.0 image analysis toolkit (Plate 6).

Allowing faster processing and improving robustness, EasyFind provides also a very precise alignment with an adjustable accuracy up to the sub-pixel level. Thanks to its rotation and scaling invariance, EasyFind is able to locate an object with a scaling tolerance of 50 to 200 per cent and a rotation of 360 from the reference model.

Designed to be used under difficult conditions, this template matcher is highly tolerant to pattern degradations due to noise, blur, occlusion, missing parts and varying illumination.

EasyFind is featured with don't care areas to create complex pattern shapes. Robust, fast and fully automatic, EasyFind is an advanced pattern matcher easily used in many applications such as fiducial alignment, die and wire bonding, PCB inspection or printing.
