Domain Dynamics acquires ET Voice

Keyword: Voice recognition

Domain Dynamics, signal processing and voice authentication specialist, has acquired ET Voice, the voice technology subsidiary of European Telecom plc, as part of its plan to become a leading global supplier of voice authentication and word recognition solutions in the wireless handheld and associated smart card and e-commerce industries. Through the acquisition, the Domain Dynamics Group has regained the worldwide rights to commercialise and exploit TESPAR-enabled products in the wireless industry. "The need for new benchmarks of performance and reliability in voice authentication and word recognition to provide much improved functionality and security is widely recognised across the wireless, smart card and e-commerce industries", said Dr Fredrik Verkroost, CEO of the Domain Dynamics Group. "TESPAR signal processing and voice authentication technology has the essential qualities needed to set new standards – TESPAR is compact, robust in the most restricted of environments and requires only very low power processing power. Above all it is a widely tested and proven technology." Domain Dynamics is securing additional funding to develop its commercial presence rapidly and build on its unrivalled skills and experience in the fields of word recognition, voice authentication and signal processing applied to wireless handheld, smart card, e-commerce, toys and games and condition monitoring applications.
