Ixthus Instrumentation announces the availability of a new low cost, high quality ultrasonic Sensor, which is capable of operating in extremely cold conditions (-40°C). The sensor face is constructed of rugged PVC material for toughness with the whole unit self-contained in a threaded 30mm diameter x 100mm long housing (see Plate 11).

The unit provides both current and voltage outputs simultaneously, and is able to operate accurately within a range of 200mm to just over 2m, incorporating a narrow beam angle and is powered by a 20 to 30VDC supply at 50mA.

This innovative product is ideal for use in the electronic, process control, refrigeration, food processing, engineering and manufacturing industries.
