Capteur Sensors, one of the world's leading manufacturers of solid state semiconductor gas sensors, has launched a new product range to help "make the air that we breathe safer and cleaner".
Capteur second generation gas sensors cover a wide range of sensors that specifically monitor air quality. They are primarily integrated within OEM product solutions such as automotive and aerospace air quality control, extract fans, air purifiers, air cleaners, filters, humidifiers, cooker hoods, ovens, HVAC systems and carbon monoxide detectors. To help OEM manufacturers, Capteur provides the essential enabling sensor technology.
Capteur sensors have proven stability and longevity. They will operate in all known climates and are manufactured to offer gas selectivity and low cross sensitivity. There are no catalysts; a feature that eliminates the susceptibility of the sensor to poisoning from external contaminants. With these features, design engineers now have the opportunity to look at new approaches to product design and areas of application denied to them using other technologies.
For Mtec '99 Capteur will be displaying its full range of cost effective, accurate, and durable gas sensors and associated electronics.
