Industrial Copolymers reports that it has added a new product to its range of waterborne epoxy curing agents. Incorez 141 is a reactive emulsified curing agent for liquid epoxy resins. It is described as a low colour, low odour-curing agent and is said to be able to yield a tough durable coating suitable for floor screed applications. ICL state that recognising that APEO compounds are becoming a major issue to formulators, its team of technical experts has made Incorez 141 APEO-free (Plate 7).

The company believes that Incorez 141 will ensure production of coatings with fast hardness and strength development and can be used to formulate highly filled, high build coatings such as flooring screeds. It also claims excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
