Fully calibrated TSYS01 replaces thermistors and NTCs
Measurement Specialties now offers the highly accurate TSYS01 digital temperature sensor that integrates a sensing chip and 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) into one component.
Drawing less than 12.5 μA in a compact QFN16 surface mount package, the fully-calibrated TSYS01 is easily incorporated into a variety of industrial control, HVAC/R and heating/cooling systems.
The 4 mm×4 mm sensor features a wide operating range of −40°C to +125°C, making it a competitively-priced replacement for thermistors and NTCs (negative temperature coefficients).
Delivering reliable, precise operation, the TSYS01 is factory-calibrated to provide an exceptionally high accuracy of ±0.1°C as well as high measurement resolution. Custom calibration is also available to meet specific application needs.
The selectable digital output of either I2C or serial peripheral interface (SPI) enables this versatile temperature sensor to interface with a microcontroller that calculates temperature based on the ADC values and calibration parameters.
