New history and policy environment forum
Article Type: News From: Management of Environmental Quality: An International Journal, Volume 24, Issue 4.
The History & Policy project has set up an Environment Forum which aims to bring scholars, policy makers and civil society practitioners together to better understand and discuss environmental history and its implications for current policy concerns. History & Policy is a joint project between scholars at the Universities of Cambridge and London, including the Centre for History in Public Health at the London School of Health and Tropical Medicine, and King's College London. Environmental historians are encouraged to join the forum, which intends to cover a range of research areas, periods and policy issues, encompassing land use and management, climate change, biodiversity and conservation, the rise of the global environmental movement, notions of expertise and public perceptions of and responses to environmental issues.
