The Music Information Consultancy are offering a programme of staff training events designed specifically for the field of music librarianship. The courses include the following sessions:

  • Wired for sound! A guide to music information sources on the Internet. This session will be run twice, once in London on Wednesday 20 October 1999 and once in Cambridge on Wednesday 10 November 1999.

  • Fancy that! A guide to advanced music reference sources. Tuesday 9 November 1999, Oxford.

They are also offering an entirely non-music based course aimed at staff working in public libraries:

  • All wired up ...? A guide to general information sources on the Internet for public librarians. Tuesday 5 October 1999, Nottingham.
