The inauguration of a Student Productivity Club at Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College was the highlight of the Productivity Week celebrations of the Madurai Productivity Council.

The objective of the Student Productivity Club, claimed to be the first of its kind in the country, is to create productivity consciousness among undergraduate and postgraduate students, according to G. Subramanian, programme committee chairman. As part of the “consciousness-raising”, a lecture on “Students” contribution to national productivity’ was delivered by C. Muthuraja of the Department of Economics, American College.
