The CEO of CISCO recently told a business audience: “I do believe we are about to see the most fundamental change in technology and how it is employed in this country and around the world in ways we would never envision just five to 10 years ago”, Chambers said in his keynote address to the black tie dinner. “I do not think I’m understating the concept that is as basic as the assembly line was to the industrial revolution. … You’re about to see that again.”

“Instead of work coming down the assembly line, the internet and video technology will allow for collaboration of people and companies around the globe and greatly boost productivity”, he said.
