Call for papers

Edited by: Bryan SmithInternational Consultant, Management Learning and Development bryan.smith@easynet.co.uk

A practical training journal showing busy training professionals how to put training theory into practice, Industrial & Commercial Training provides all those involved in personnel training with current practice, ideas, news, etc. on major issues in the related areas. The journal aims to provide a balance between theory and practice and spell out implications for those involved in training.

Editorial objectives

To provide all those involved in personnel training, and training management with current practice, ideas, news and research on major issues in organization development and employee education and training. It is our intention to maintain a sound balance between the theory and practice of training. Contributors are encouraged to spell out the practical implications of their work for those involved in training. Articles based on experiences and evidence -- rather than just philosophical speculation -- will receive particular encouragement. A series of short articles on a linked theme appearing in successive issues would be particularly welcome. Articles focusing on training in the areas of marketing, sales and related business functions will be especially welcomed.

Copyright

Articles submitted to the journal should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. Authors submitting articles for publication warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify the publisher against any breach of such warranty. For ease of dissemination and to ensure proper policing of use, papers and contributions become the legal copyright of the publisher unless otherwise agreed. The reviewing process Emerald has appointed an Editor who is a respected expert in the subject area concerned. The decision whether or not to publish is made by the Editor. The Editor may, on occasions, seek second opinions from Editorial Advisory Board members.
