New personal development planning programme

New personal development planning programme

Keywords: Management development, Career development, Training

A new personal development planning programme from management development specialists, Cambridge Management Centres - part of attitudes, skills and knowledge group ASK Europe plc - aims to provide an intensive development centre with personal assessment and coaching.

The three-day programme is designed to identify personal and career development needs, help individuals to recognize their personal career derailment factors and enable them to implement a personal action and development plan.

Using a management competency framework, individual participants' skills and knowledge are assessed by independent observers using psychometric analysis. In addition, simulations, group and individual exercises examine and assess key behavioural competencies.

This means that participants receive 360-degree feedback to enable them to identify areas for development. Then, working intensively on a one-to-one basis with a personal coach, they are able to assimilate the personal feedback and develop individual action plans.

The new programme can be run at Cambridge Management Centres' own purpose-built development centre, or in a company where it may be adapted to meet the specific needs of the organization.
