Improved commissioning of building controls can deliver improved functional performance of buildings, enabling occupiers to achieve improved business performance. Recognizing the need for up-to-date guidelines, the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) recently launched the revision of its new Commissioning Code for controls.

The new Commissioning Code outlines the changes that have been made to fully reflect the latest systems design. The revised Code complements CIBSE's recently published Guide H: Building Control Systems, to provide a comprehensive building controls information source.
