We are delighted to present to you the first issue of the third volume of the EuroMed Journal of Business. This issue provides a paper by Christos Karelakis, Konstadinos Mattas and George Chryssochoidis that examines Greek wine firms’ export perceptions and outlines the factors that may impede their export activities; presents a research paper written by Erkki Laitinen that is based on the Markowitz mean-variance portfolio approach and develops a theory of future management accounting systems; and features a paper co-authored by Hans Ruediger Kaufmann and Susanne Durst entitled “Developing interregional brands”. In addition this volume includes a paper written by Rose Otieno, who presents a model of researching clothing anthropometrics; a study by Isabelle Pignatel entitled “Directors: geographical and industry specialisation”; and a paper by Vassilios Aggelides and Prodromos Chatzoglou that explores the methods for evaluation hospital information systems. Finally, Petros Lois reviews Maria Krambia-Kapardis’s book entitled Key Issues Internationally A Multidisciplinary Approach, published in Athens by Sakkoulas Publishing.
We believe that we have introduced varied and fascinating topics for our readers and hope that you find Volume 3 Number 1 of EMJB to be both interesting and valuable.
