In recent years the Manpower Services Commission (MSC), through its Training Services Division (TSD), has considerably extended its training operations for clerical and commercial staff. The rapid growth of office technology and its increasing impact on office functions and office skills led TSD to recognise this field as one of the major priority areas of its operating plan for the years 1980–81.
