Abstract
The entrepreneur has an idea and develops it into a flourishing business. Operations control and objectives are usually clearly defined and effective under the founder's personal direction. But what happens when the sheer size of the business over‐rides one‐man management? Using case histories, Leonard Fine highlights some of the danger signs of “control blockages.”
